Yes, I saw that @RehabMan -- and was confused by it. :eek: It is a freshly generated panic, I get the "your mac was restarted, do you want to send the error report to apple" dialog every time and the timestamps on the .panic files are always new. (Or does the kernel panic detail get stuck in...
Running a Fusion Drive hack with an 256 GB Intel 600p NVMe SSD and a 3 TB Toshiba DT01ACA300 HDD. Initially was running a Core i7-6700 as iMac17,1 and have since upgraded to Core i7-7700k as iMac18,3.
Worked fine in Sierra with the HackrNVMeFamily configuration. Since rebuilding with HS, the...
I see that there is a xnu boot argument "-xcpm".
Is that useful, required, not required, to be avoided, etc?
(I'm using config.plist > SSDT/Generate/PluginType=true, if that makes a difference.)
(Sorry for the earlier post to the wrong thread. :crazy:)
thanks... bt

Sorry I didn't explain that very well.
I did not use the Sierra installer at all, correct.
I created the *space* for a recovery partition on the SSD... and then just left it. I don't know if it has been populated or not; I did not inspect it.
I could populate it with the contents of the HDD...
One bump on this, or one confirmation.
With High Sierra 10.13.2 (C1788), I did not need to recreate the Fusion Drive using Sierra installer.
Once I copied over the FakeSMC & related kexts to the EFI partition (EFI/Clover/kexts/other) from /Library/Extensions, I was able to boot to the Recovery...
Is the PEG0() device the geforce 1080? I think that if that is the case, you are at the mercy of the card and the drivers for the card to resume from sleep correctly.
There seems to have been quite a few updates for the nvidia drivers lately - did updating help?
cheers... Brad
Slightly different config on the same MB, might help you @Milesree.
I'm running a Core i7-6700 (not K) and macOS Sierra 10.12.4. I used the 14.2 iMac System Definition.
Before i tweaked the USB config I had a lot of sleep/wake issues (reboots), but after doing that I even have PowerNap...
I also got a 2x2 BCM94360CS2 - and have BT but no wifi.
(This one actually.)
I see the card being picked up in the boot log, but it does not show up in ioRegistryExplorer.
In the boot log it makes its first appearance right after the FakeSMC message (around 10s in the attached mov file)...
Thanks for the quick look @RehabMan ... appreciate it.
It was not clear to me what needed to stay and what needed to go based on the instructions. ;)
I've fixed config.plist - it was just a missing angle bracket from me scrubbing the serial numbers from the file. See attached.
I moved...
I've gone through the steps and found these ports:
HS01 (SS01) - HS06 (SS06) external
HS08 internal bluetooth
Created the SSDT and dropped it in.
// SSDT-UIAC-GA-Z170N-WIFI_2.0.dsl
//
// This SSDT can be used as a template to build your own
// customization for USBInjectAll.kext.

// This...
