I had similar problem on Z490 with XMP enabled. Disabling XMP and setting maximum frequency to 2933 MHz solved the issue. That’s the highest frequency used by a real Mac Pro.

It looks like you're using older version of OC. If you're not using OCbuilder to build new versions, there is 0.7.1 (release) ready to download. But first check if the attached file will help. Don't forget to fill in serial numbers.

Could you post your config.plist please?

You just have to have SecureBootModel in config.plist set to “Disabled” instead “Default” during installation (assuming you’re using OpenCore boot loader). Have fun with Monterey :)

I hate to disappoint you, but I have this board. The trick with the boot argument works well with Big Sur, but not with Monterey. I225 is showing in the system, correct kext is being loaded but no connection is detected. Even assigning IP by hand doesn’t do the trick…

Solution that worked for me: 1. Disable FakePCIID.kext and FakePCDID_Intel_i225-V.kext in config.plist, 2. remove everything concerning i225 in DeviceProperties/Add/PciRoot... 3. add "dk.e1000=0" (without quotes) to boot-args.

That's what I heard about DRM and WEG too. I don't know exactly how it's gonna be with RX5700XT, but with RX580 I have removed all boot arguments (audio layout moved to device properties in config.plist) except "-liluforce" which allows loading WEG in safe mode. Like I said before, no problems...

If I were you, I'd consider switching to iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS. Netflix, HBO, Apple TV - everything is working beautifully. There's nothing to loose. Well maybe except iGPU which has to be disabled in BIOS ;)

@Higgie You can get rid of the delay by disabling USB Mass Storage Driver Support in BIOS. When in BIOS, go to Settings/IO Ports/USB Configuration/USB Mass Storage Driver Support and set it to Disabled. Just keep in mind, you won't be able to boot from any USB device until you enable it again.

As far as I know Intel Optane is used to cache drives either in normal and RAID mode. You should be able to setup RAID using in AHCI SATA mode. Look once again into the manual - 3-1 Configuring SATA Controllers - (Note 1) Skip this step if you do not want to create RAID array on the SATA controller.

Hey @CaseySJ, I've updated my OC to the newest 0.6.4 build hoping it will solve the issue with TB hot plug, but the problem still persists. I've tried both SSDT versions and in both cases my RP05 section looks exactly the same. Take a look at my IORegistryExplorer dump. You're our only hope :)...

Thanks @CaseySJ. In my case Windows is launching fine from OC Picker, but the RP05 section looks exactly the same. Just to let you know, I'm running OC 0.6.4 built two weeks ago, but I don't really think that's the reason.

@CaseySJ How to tell if TB hot plug is working correctly (I have no TB devices at the moment)? I have checked mine and it looks the same. Could you tell me how it's supposed to look like?
