Hello Everyone - I know this is post is old, but I have a fix to try for those that are having this issue.
In short, I updated to 10.15.4 Catalina and bluetooth disappeared with the squiggly line in the menu bar. No hardware detected in system profile, played with all the suggestions in the...
Thank you for all of the guides. Nice and thorough. I went through and fixed everything you mentioned and things look ok. The kextcache is still throwing up some errors and fakesmc.kext is the big bummer. I'm still going through your bootloading guide. Super helpful so far. BTW, I install...
In system information, bluetooth doesn't show up. "No information found." I tried looking for the exact hardware to see if it's broadcom-based but couldn't find that information online. I'm not sure it every showed up in system information, but this could be the issue. I'm thinking of...
The Bluetooth was working out of the box, but it is the onboard Bluetooth on the Asus mobo. I did not add a Bluetooth chip.
The mobo also has a built in wifi but I never got that to work and use Ethernet.
Any ideas?
I also just tried turning bluetooth off in bios, booting back into macOS, turning it back on in bios, and still bluetooth is unavailable.
I also tried erasing the bluetooth plist in library preferences. Still a squiggly line bluetooth icon.

Now I've lost bluetooth in macOS HS, when it was working perfectly before...
I have the same issue after installing the high sierra web driver and cuda. If I physically disconnect the nvidia 1080ti graphics, the machine boots up with the -disablegfxfirmware arg.
When I have the nvidia 1080ti card plugged in, the machine boots up into a black screen.
Thanks for the the suggestion. Gave it a try and tried cycling the inputs. Same screen.
I ran the bootloader in verbose and it stall on this line: iMac.local com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.WindowServer) <Notice>: Service only ran for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 10 seconds.
Any advice?
I followed this thread's first post to create a high sierra usb installer. After the clover boot loader, I get the apple, the load bar, then before the installer pops up, I get this image above. I've waited for a few hours now. Should I keep waiting or what else can I try?
I've skimmed...
