This has already been done, check out this thread https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-macos-high-sierra-direct-upgrade-fresh-install-on-h270n-wifi.233433/
I agree that this is another great tutorial. Thanks jktaurus8. I now have a 100% working and very stable High Sierra Hackintosh with an APFS disk.
I added the Broadcom wifi card which gives me Wifi/Bluetooth.
The only thing on my wish list, and it is only aesthetic, is that it would be nice...
How long does the script take to run? I have been waiting for about 10mins and there is disk activity and the cursor in terminal has not returned to bash.
If I choose to bypass APFS and go with HFS+, will I be able to convert the HFS+ to APFS at a later date when Multibeast 10 is released without loosing data?
Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent guide.
Everything worked for me except the darkwake=8, my computer would reboot on wakeup from sleep so I changed this to darkwake=0 (same as my Z170N) and everything works perfectly now.
Cheers
[UPDATE]
darkwake=10 is a more reliable setting
I was wondering if you are able to share your BIOS mod with me. I have a similar Gigabyte motherboard which I have added Ozmosis and kexts to and I can install the stock OSX but it will not boot it stops at the gray apple screen.
Cheers
