Can't get it to work either unfortunately. I'll be sticking to my dual boot with 2 seperate SSDs.

    Dual-boot Sierra + Windows 10

Hi all, Currently I am succesfully running Sierra on a Crucial MX300 525GB SSD. Pretty much everything works perfectly. However, my Windows 10 is installed on an older SSD (Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB) which has slightly slower read speeds (470 MB/s), but significantly slower write speeds...

    macOS 10.12.2 Update

Update from 10.12.0 to 10.12.2 broke my Nvidia Web Drivers (but fixed with driver). Everything else still working :)

[READ ME FIRST!] Graphics Setup & Troubleshooting

That seems very low indeed. Does it properly detect your GTX 970? I'm running a GTX 970 and my Cinebench R15 scores 120.71 FPS in OpenGL. I'm on iMac 14.1 and Sierra 12.0.0

[READ ME FIRST!] Graphics Setup & Troubleshooting

Right there with you, I've been looking at 4K monitors, but having 27" + 21" 1080p gives me more versatility. A few 4K monitors are affordable, however lack ports and/or height adjustment and lack 99% sRGB. If only the LG27UD88W was a bit cheaper, that one is beautiful.

[READ ME FIRST!] Graphics Setup & Troubleshooting

I have a GTX 970 and run Sierra. I have two monitors. One connected via HDMI (works perfectly) and one connected via DVI-I VGA, which does not work and causes a bootloop. I bought a non-branded (from China) DP to VGA adapter and I was able to boot, however I could not get the monitor that was...

    Hackintosh for video editing 4K

I currently can't test since I had to RMA my graphics card (it was overheating so I had to send it back to ASUS for a replacement. It really depends on what you use to edit with. Final Cut Pro or premiere pro have very different rendering times with the same graphics card due to optimisations...

    Hackintosh for video editing 4K

I recently built a similar system with a 6700K, GTX 970 and ga-Z170X(-UD3) motherboard. Quite easy to install and get everything to work. Your parts are compatible.

Enabling AMD RX 4XX cards in Sierra.

Which version(s) of the XFX RX480 8GB do you have? There are 4 versions: OC, RS, GTR and GTR Black edition

Radeon Compatibility Guide - ATI/AMD Graphics Cards

So will a MSI RX 480 GAMING X 8G work entirely? Are there any problems with it? My Asus Strix GTX970 is getting an RMA because it crashes under load (got it 2 weeks ago when I built my brand new Hackintosh/Windows dual boot). Now, 2 weeks later, it seems like a lot has happened for RX 480...

[READ ME FIRST!] Graphics Setup & Troubleshooting

Ah that explains why. Makes sense though, since nearly all modern monitors have either HDMI or DP or USB C/Thunderbolt. @ Florian, ah okay, I think i'll go look for a DP to VGA adapter then :)

[READ ME FIRST!] Graphics Setup & Troubleshooting

Im on Sierra and I'm using a GTX970 (asus strix) and my main monitor works fine with an hdmi to hdmi cable at 1920x1080, which is its native resolution. However I can't get my second monitor to work, it's quite an old monitor with only VGA (LG E2240S 1920x1080 with a TN panel) Currently it is...

[GUIDE] [SUCCESS] MSI Radeon RX 480 Gaming X full acceleration in macOS Sierra

So can you get full performance from the RX 480 now? I want to buy a Gigabyte Radeon RX 480 G1 Gaming 8G card, it gives a lot of performance for the price. Will I be able to fully use it in Sierra?

    Nvidia 1000-series support

Hi, I'm looking to build a Hackintosh in a month or so. What are my best GPU options? With the 1000-series being released a while ago, the Nvidia 900-series does not seem worth it anymore. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up so I'm hoping to pick up a bunch of components for a good...
