Do you know how to make itlwm.kext work with OpenCore ?
I currently have a working T440p with 10.5.7 and Clover.
I added itlwm.kext in EFI/OC/Kexts in your OpenCore EFI USB, it boots fine but the itlwm.kext is not loading.
After several fails upon reboot, I finally succeeded by putting all the kexts in EFI/Clover/kexts/Other instead of Library/Extensions, and it seems to work. My question is can I leave it that way ?
You have to buy another the screen connection cable. As I remember, the steps were :
- run the Probook installer to make change for the high resolution screen
- turn off the laptop
- change your screen
- start the lapton
I got KP at step 3, managed to boot with -xcpm and KernelPm=true, then set these with Clover configurator and change the SMBIOS to MacBookAir5,2. This allowed the laptop to reboot correctly on Maverick.
When installing Yosemite I got a KP at step 5.
What could I change in Clover configurator...
@nguyenmac
Could you please check the configuration for the elitebook 2170 ?
I had KP upon restart after running the latest PBI (version 6.2.11.2) prior to updating to Yosemoite, I found out that happened because the PBI:
- changed the SMBIOS from MacBookAir5,2 to MacBookPro9,2
- removed...
Once in Clover Configurator, I set SMBIOS to MacBooKAir5,2.
As for the boot argument, I check -xcpm but what about "kext-dev-mode=1" which was previously checked, should I leave it as is or uncheck it ?
I patched the DSDT but still have KP at boot without the arguments you gave to me.
Now, in Clover Configurator, I can add -xcpm but what about "kext-dev-mode=1", should I remove it or let it checked
I can boot only with -x (-xcmp doesn't work)
As for DSDT patching either F4 and Fn+F4 dont work, could I just navigate to EFI and delete the DSDT before reboot ?
