could that help with an issue of black screen/crash when going out of sleep.
I'm struggling to find a "recipe" to have a fresh catalina on GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3.
If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, anybody with Catalina here. I'm trying to have a working system.
right now no sound with chipset 889 and no wake up from sleep :(
edit: I have a msi RX590 works great with lilu + whatevergreen
Hi, same motherboard here, can you explain me in more detail how you did it ?
when you say you install the Kexts to /L/E which Kexts are you talking off, where can I download them ?
Thank you.
By the way, do you know how to recreate/repair de mechanism that makes a fusion drive a bootable system like it's asked in this question : https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/322956/apple-boot-boot-os-x-partition-and-fusion-drive
Never too late ...
Yes UEFI bios,
here is config.plist (my other folder is empty)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">

<key>ACPI</key>
<dict>...
yes GTX 560Ti working perfectly (mostly used for Heroes Of The Storm).
@swain : jHFS+ = journaled HFS+ partition format
- first, use verbose mode to know where you're stuck on boot.
vor verbose mode use -v in the clover parameters.
Then are you blocked on boot when booting the installer or...
1) use Unibeast v8.0.0 to make the boot-install stick.
2) do the usual BIOS settings
3) boot from boot disk
4) install on jHFS+ disk.
6) run Sierra Multibeast with
- "Realtek ALC889" (for audio)
- "Inject NVIDIA" (To enable HW acceleration and Metal)
still needed
- something for Ethernet...
:thumbup: ...going to try that just now.
::edit:: I did it a bit differently (no Time Machine), but it ends up being more or less the same.
I started this because I wanted to updated my El Cap. Fusion drive to High Sierra.
Having a free 2TB SATA disk, I've done a clean install of High Sierra...
Thank you, I got it working too now with this FixHeaders_20000000.
(Z68X-UD3H-B3 + i7 2600K + GeForce 560Ti)
:clap:
I still need to get my Ethernet port from motherboard working, as well as the USB3 ports.
If you have an idea, please let me know.
Hi, I have the same MBoard and CPU but with a 560Ti .
can you post un update after a few days running your config ?
Sound is still OK after going to sleep and waking up again ?
Graphics ? all 3D hardware acceleration working ?
Sleep + wake up ?
thank you for your feedback.
shouldl do mine...
I don't think so, 11,5K to 12K is around the score of the core i7 2600K at 3,4GHz.
maybe my DDR is faster and that makes the small difference ?
Or perhaps my water-cooling system gets me longer in turbo mode.
I don't know but your score is in the average for that CPU
