https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-msi-ge62-6qd-apache-pro-mojave-10-14.261756/ The guide is for Mojave however the steps should be similar for Catalina. Since you're a newbie I'd suggest reading the entire guide carefully so you don't miss anything important :) I don't own the laptop so...

[Nearly Success] Catalina on DELL Inspiron 7590

Have you tried OC yet? I'm using OC on my Inspiron 5570 and it works. Try my EFI or @Mrgeque 's EFI here , although you may have to adjust some settings because of different model numbers etc. Are the specs your profile current as well? if not what are your specs? lmk

I'll update if anything breaks and/or get fixed. I'm also open to suggestions if any. WHAT WORKS: SLEEP (via menu...

    << Solved >> Dell Inspiron 5570 Touchpad/Restart Issue

Did that, HDMI works now! I do wanna ask though, since your OC version is 0.6.0, will upgrading break anything or is it safe to do so? I'm also getting some OCS: No schema for ___ readouts on startup but they don't affect performance and/or startup. Will OC snapshotting get rid of these or will...

Just did that (removed the flag and reset NVRAM via bootloader) and it still doesn't do anything apart from lagging on startup when HDMI is plugged in edit: used it for a DJ gig yesterday and it's safe to say it worked flawlessly

    Dell Inspiron 5593

ok noted. from your screenshots it looks like you have a qualcomm card. unfortunately qualcomm/atheros wifi cards aren't supported as there is no kext for it. you may have to swap it out for a working card (you can try intel but you'll need itlwm) or buy a broadcom card/DW1830 and swap it out...

    Dell Inspiron 5593

what wifi module are you using? i see broadcom kexts alongside an intel bluetooth kext. you will need itlwm.kext if your card is an Intel card

    Dell Inspiron 5593

Please upload your entire EFI folder. Also what WiFi card are you using in you system? Because I can see from your config.plist there is a broadcom kext for wifi and an intelbluetoothinjector kext for Intel...
