I downloaded your Big Sur 11.3 EFI and noticed it has a folder titled APPLE in it, just to be clear that is not supposed to be inside the EFI folder?

Can anyone tell me what's going on here? My config.plist checks out as good on the Opencore sanity checker.

I had to copy the sample.plist file to the desktop right click on it and then open it with the proper tree app to get it to populate the BOOT section, would not populate inside the EFI/OC folder.

Well I tried pulling the sample.plist and renaming it config.plist and then doing a snap shot in Proper Tree and all I get are the ACPI, KERNEL, MISC, & UEFI section. Still missing the BOOT section!

Thanks, I was trying to do a fresh one because I have been unable to successfully boot any config that I have made. A tired mind tends to overlook the simple things.

I am trying to build a new Hackintosh, last one I did was back in 2011. I have been trying to learn and understand the OpenCore method. What's puzzling me is that every time i build my EFI folder the config.plist file is missing the BOOT section. Can someone tell me why?

I find it ironic that Apple would allow a Hackintosh podcast in iTunes!
