Thanks, I’ll try that. How are the web drivers used by the 10.13.5 updated? I mean in the intermediary step of booting from the boot install disk that is only there when upgrading, are the web drivers used for that somehow?

No luck for me. I install the update form the MAS. Computer reboots. I select th boot from the install disk from eh clover (4458) menu, then it gets about an inch into the progress indicator and stalls. Ug. If this helps, here’s where it stalls

I did number of things to solve this, and it's fixed. Unfortunately, I didn't more than one thing, but the one LAN related things was to turn off was from LAN in BIOS and in System Prefs.

Hi. When my Hackintosh wakes, no ethernet. I'm using the Inell LAN port. I've set up a second location with no interfaces, and when I wake, I switch to the no network location, then switch back to automatic, and the network comes ups. Any ideas?

I did a fresh 10.13.4 install, and was able to upgrade it using the app store's security update. I had to turn off Inject Intel for the graphics drivers, but that worked, and that was it for off modifications. I think it's time I did a fresh install anyways, even though it's a lot of work. Time...
