    I've posted about the issue in the Mountain Lion: MultiBeast - No Audio/Solutions and Problem Reporting thread but my post said it needed to be cleared by a Mod. As soon as that happens I'm sure the folks over their will be able to figure something out.

    Buy a cheap card off of the buyers guide. You'll enjoy not having to worry about it.

    Yup. That's odd. I don't use USB 3 for anything besides testing if it works with a USB card reader so I can't say.

    My front USB3 jacks work great. They're going into a usb3 header on the left hand side of the board nearest the other front button headers.

    What hardware and BIOS version? Hmm. Doesn't look like I have a SPDIF to motherboard header adapter or I would test it for you. Ebay has plenty for $10. Worth a shot. I use the SPDIF out to Bravo then my receiver and Schiit BiFrost. That works great!

    audio passthrough? Where you're using the board's SPDIF input and sending it right out via SPDIF out?
