Can you run Raid 0 on dual m.2 nvme ssd's on a Hackintosh now?

Thanks for the reply. As RehabMan has mentioned i don't think hardware raid is possible at all :( And and don't think there is any greater source of knowledge on this matter. I found out that Samsung have a 1Tb version of the 960 Evo so will probably go done that path instead with my next build

Does Gigabyte B250M-HD3 Motherboard Support Hackintosh?

You need to backup your files as the install will reformat your drive. I would suggest you get a 2nd drive so you can dual boot

Can you run Raid 0 on dual m.2 nvme ssd's on a Hackintosh now?

After a very generous tax return I though i would upgrade my "old" late 2014 Hackintosh to a bigger beast The main build will be based on a 7700k processor running on a Gigabyte - GA-Z270X-Gaming K5 Motherboard I plan to use 2 x Samsung 960 EVO 500GB M.2-2280 drives Though the motherboard...

Post OS X Yosemite Cinebench CPU and Graphics Benchmarks Your Mac Type makes a difference too. As a Mac Pro 3,1 I was getting about 20fps less in cinebench. Changing to an iMac 12,1 increased my benchmarks significantly

Any benefit in changing Mac identity from Mac Pro 3,1?

I have to agree. Setting my Mac to a Mac Pro 6,1 resulted in my computer losing network connection on wakeup from sleep. Setting to iMac 12,2 gave me far greater Geekbench as well as Cinebench results. Much happier with the resultant build now. Not even sure I wish to overclock as the...

MSI Z97i Gaming AC Mini ITX - What Bluetooth and WiFi Chipset?

Yes it's the Z97i and besides having the WORST placement of connectors I have seen for a Mini-ITX board it was a fairly painless process to get Yosemite up and running I have the same Wifi/BT module and reading the MSI website I see nowhere where it says the WiFi Card is a Broadcom BCM94352...

MSI Z97i Gaming AC Mini ITX - What Bluetooth and WiFi Chipset?

I got the information from this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/bios-uefi/143167-msi-9-series-motherboards-os-x-setup-configuration.html Looking at the MSI website. All the Wi-Fi/BT modules are based on the Intel 7260 chipset. So not sure why an official article has incorrect information...

Sorry for highjacking the thread but I'm looking at replacing my MSI Z97i Gaming ITX board with the Asus z97 Maximus VII Impact Besides the Ethernet issue listed here. Everything else installed without any major drama? It looks a great board, hence the reason for the upgrade

ASUS Maximus VII Impact (Mini ITX) - compatible?

Hi all, I currently have a nice little Mini-ITX build running with an MSI Z97i Gaming AC board inside a Corsair 250D case To cut a long story short. The position of the connectors with my choice of case is doing my head in in regards to cable management. Basically it sucks Research has lead...
