Thanks for the info. I'm reluctant to go down that path- I guess I'm more interested in why its happening and looking for a long term solution rather than a downgrade fix. Thanks for the link though, I'm sure others will find it handy!
I'm using iTunes 11.0.2 on 10.8.3 with my Intel DH67BL desktop board. Everything works great, except, iTunes will not play any sort of protected video, HD or SD. Whenever I try to play a video, the image is just a scrambled pink/yellow/green mess. The audio works fine and no HDCP message...
Just as an update, I was able to replicate your GPT boot issue. I am unable to boot GPT when I have UEFI boot disabled. Thus, I keep UEFI enabled in the DH67BL settings.
However, with UEFI enabled, Windows will not work. To fix this, all I did was install OS X first, create a Windows (GPT)...
Success! Thank you RehabMan!
Here's what I did, which may come in handy if one has an Intel DH67BL with Ivy Bridge/HD 4000:
Followed RehabMan's directions: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-guides/77676-success-intel-dh67gd-core-i7-2600k-hd3000-ml-10-8-2-a-2.html#post520519...
I'll gladly try your DSDT once more- maybe my issue was that I also added your GPU DSDT patch.
Actually, I have multiple partitions as well (OS X and Windows)- still works fine with Chimera, GPT and the DH67BL. Odd.
Updates to follow....
Also just to add a couple of things:
My DH67BL boots just fine from a GPT drive... Maybe a different board revision? I didn't have to do any GPT-->MBR conversion. It boots automatically.
Also, with the EasyBeast install, the graphics driver will usually load correctly and OS X will run with...
I actually did try your method- and had no luck.
Here's what happens:
Standard UniBeast install works, including ethernet, but no ability to change display settings, but
MultiBeast + your DSDT edits = no boot
I think the difference might be that I'm using a 3570K i5 with HD 4000 graphics (Ivy...
Does the sleep function work on your DH67BL? I got everything installed using your instructions and it so far works perfectly- except, when I put the computer to sleep, the display will shut off but the machine won't actually enter the sleep state. It also is impossible to wake it up. Thanks!
I'm trying to install Mac OS X on a PC for the first time.
I am using OS 10.8 Mountain Lion on an Intel DH67BL motherboard, with an Intel Core i5 (3750K), and Intel HD Graphics 4000.
When I use my flash drive created from UniBeast, the installer will boot but it will hang at the Apple...
