I have the same problem

Maverick 10.9 dual monitor onboard audio/video (dvi/hdmi), I7 cpu, 8gb ram. Problems in the monitors if using hybernation. I never use that anyway, even in my mac pro and mac books. Clean install fllowing standard instructions.

Clean install with multibeast, no problems whatsoever.

Just to tell you that I am using two monitors with dvi conectors and different resolutions. One in the DVI-port and the second one in the hdmi port with a hdmi to dvi adapted cable. OS: maverick 10.9 Works perfect I only had to switch off the monitor sleep mode in system preferences.
