Trouble with USB Microphone P7P55D-E PRO

Thanks for the tip... Just tried it -- No luck. I've tried both a Motorola USB headset and a Bluetooth headset, with the same issue via both devices, which leads me to believe the issue is with the audio kexts. I don't have a line-in mic to test with :\ BTW, i'm running 10.7.5.

Trouble with USB Microphone P7P55D-E PRO

My computer has been working fine for a while now, but i just got around to using a USB Microphone and noticed it's not working consistently. Occasionally it works for a bit, but it frequently cuts out and no longer shows up in System Prefs>Sound>Input My mobo uses VIA VTI828S 8-Channel Audio...

    Intermittent Kernel Panic during boot

It occurs maybe 1 out of every 5 boots and requires a hard shutdown. When i reboot, it almost always has no issue. I have had the same problem in 10.7.3 and 10.7.4. I've attached a shot of my kernel backtrace during the KP. It seems to be an issue with ioAudiofamily or voodoo? Any help...

    Should I bother with SSDT?

Thanks for the info! Would I know if i was running a Sandy Bridge system? How exactly can I tell? I didn't do anything Sandy Bridge specific to my knowledge during the build, but I am having a graphics lag since the update.

    System-Wide Graphical Lag since 10.7.4

I'm having a new issue since installing 10.7.4. Every 5 or 10 minutes, my graphics lag for 3 or 4 seconds. Everything from the mouse cursor to gifs. Audio does not lag at all, which leads me to believe it's an issue specifically with graphics as opposed to the entire system. Any help would be...

    Should I bother with SSDT?

My rig is working fine for what I need it for, but would i see a substantial improvement if i installed the core i7 SSDT from MB? I don't think over clocking is necessary for me at this time. I'm also curious if installing the SSDT is something I can do now, with an already operation setup, or...

How To: Build your own "Real" Airport Card

I do actually have an extra linksys router lying around. I'm using a Belkin atm... I haven't tried swapping them out. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. As far as the security, I'm pretty isolated where I live, so I'm not too worried about it.

How To: Build your own "Real" Airport Card

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: So i did this and followed a rebrand guide -- the rebrand worked great! My WiFi card is now seen as an Airport Extreme! Same damn problem, though. It actually seems to be having a harder time even finding the network. One thing i've...

How To: Build your own "Real" Airport Card

Le sigh. I've tried nearly everything. I can get the card to connect poorly, despite "full bars," for a short time, but it never stays connected. Thereafter, when attempting to connect, it says "Connection Timed Out." Or if I attempt to set up a new network it tells me my password is...

    Random Kernel Panic re: IOAudioFamily

I'm getting a random KP, the backlog cites IOAudioFamily, IOPCIFamily and Voodoo HDA 0.2.1. It only happens about 1/4 of the time, and after the hard reset it boots as usual. Audio works fine when the computer is on. Any suggestions? *EDIT* Perhaps I'm using the wrong version of Voodoo? Is...

New NVIDIA Graphics Drivers for 10.7.3 Lion Released

My Cinebench FPS is dissappointing, but I'm just happy to have my GTX 560Ti working without any hacks... I don't do much gaming on the Hackintosh, anyway :P *EDIT* I just thought to try removing the arch=i386 bootflag, since i needed to get my GTX card working before the new drivers. The card...
