I have a different setup from you but I got into the same problem with my computer. It did not show any preboot screen and I could not get into the Bios and was not able to choose the boot device, just a blank black screen untill clover boot screen. But it did boot into the operating system...

The problem I had was random freezes and it didnt even boot up most of the time. I got some garbled screen just before the BIOS screen and , yes the computer was jut very unstable all the time. The card might have been defect. I just returned it to the seller.

I had the same happening with my Rx580. Didnt show Bios boot or Clover boot screen during booting process. Nothing showed up on the display until loading the driver at the end. For my flashing it with bios from another identical card fixed the problem.

I´m not sure I fully understand what your saying about what the problem is. For me its no problem using my computer like it is today. I expect a hackintosh go give me problems every now and then , especially during updates on systems etc. I have been using a Hackintosh since 2012 and...

Because as I wrote above I replaced the built in wifi card with the broadcom card ( then lost the bluetooth working from the built in card. I still have not been able to get the broadcom card to work.
