Back story: I just did a fresh install of Catalina 10.15.5 with unibeast and multibeast. It went pretty smoothly and I was still trying to iron out issues with graphics, wifi card, and sleep. I was able to boot from the hard drive, run multibeast, and I selected the legacy clover boot mode...
Hi all, my probook 4530s is crashing after waking. I've read that memory might be corrupted after waking. Thoughts? When I turn it back on and look at the logs, I see this:

interesting. i don't have the genericusb kext. This is the end of the road for my very limited understanding of this stuff. Initially I thought it might be a power supply problem or an oxidized wire or a short or something like that but everything like that is solid. Then I thought it may have...
Now, I sometimes get an error stating that usb is drawing too much power. Error message or not, my computer will crash 100% of the time if I unplug any usb device that wasn't plugged in at startup. I want to figure out how to patch usb power on DSDT. I tried turning legacy usb on and off at bios...
If the computer starts up with something in the front port, it's fine. If I unplug it, it's fine. Only if I plug in or remove something that wasn't plugged in at startup will it crash.

I have a probook 4530s with same webcam as you (same vendor/product id). I installed the kext you attached and my camera works for about 5-15 seconds before it stops. Do you have any ideas what might be causing it to freeze?
so i bit the bullet and bought a LONG ethernet cable. deleted network devices in system preferences, deleted the networkinfaces.plist, reboot, et voila. problem solved. sigh.

Not very useful instructions to me though, as I don't have much experience coding. I tried a couple of...
