[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

It's Wednesday my dudes. I have successfully followed this guide on a HP Elitebook 840 G3 and it has worked well (far better than I expected). There is one annoying problem left. The system successfully goes to sleep, but it can't wake from sleep. When waking from sleep, it gets stuck in a loop...

    Acer Aspire V3-372

Well if it's any consolation, I think you have tried virtually every possibility. Other than OS X problems, do you recommend this laptop? Would you recommend the 6157u version (it is limited to 2.4GHz maximum) or do you think the turbo boost makes a big difference in daily tasks?

    Acer Aspire V3-372

I understand. It is the DVTM-prealloc value that is killing the Iris 550 variant of this laptop... I am amazed how there is always that one little problem that breaks everything on a laptop... It seems every generation they accidently find new ways to make our lives harder o_O Also, I can't...

    Acer Aspire V3-372

Hey all, I'm dying to know if you have made any progress, because I am really interested in buying this laptop. Since the newest MBP uses Iris 550, it should work without issues. But it seems that is not the case? Also, technically it should work from 10.12 onwards since Iris 550 MBPs shipped...

10.10.3 Update Black screen with cursor

EDIT - Yep, verde.kext did the trick. Thanks a lot! The card is detected as HD 7xxx but it is merely cosmetic I think, performance seems good.

10.10.3 Update Black screen with cursor

Any chance this problem can be solved without kext edits, so using some Clover options or DSDT edit?

    [GUIDE] CustoMac Pro 2010 - GA-X58A-UD3R -Core i7-930 - ATI 5770 - OS X 10.11

EX58 is a different motherboard... Anyway, it seems the DSDT downloads on this site aren't working. Anyone got the 2.0 FH DSDT? Audio is not working for me yet... see here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/bootloaders/145429-clover-old-guard-ga-x58a-ud3r-rev-2-0-a-14.html#post1186113

Clover with the old guard: GA-X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0

I must install using MBR stick otherwise it won't work. Now it works fine.... Still need a DSDT though. Or something that will provide the finishing touches. Audio is not working for a start. No idea about CPU management. I experienced one KP so far (prob CPU related). Specs of the system...

    Laptop Compatibility

Does anyone know if the ProBook 4230s was released in Europe? Seems like a really nice little laptop for El Capitan. Which other small (HP) laptop <13.5" would be the best candidate for OS X?

Adding 8560w to Install Guide and Clover

I would appreciate if someone with a 8560w w/ AMD M5950 could help me get El Capitan working. The problems I am having are posted here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-laptop-guides/168236-guide-install-10-11-hp-elitebook-probook-others-clover-uefi-174.html#post1183838 UPDATE: I...

Adding 8560w to Install Guide and Clover

Sorry, I don't think my first reply to you was correct. You can search on the forum which adapter you need, but it might not be the one I said initially. All I know is that the 8560w is EXTREMELY picky about this, so read very carefully.
