NVIDIA has released their alternate graphics drivers for OS X Yosemite 10.10.4. These are separate from the drivers Apple ships as standard, and should be considered experimental. These drivers have been known to solve OpenCL issues with certain applications, as well as providing better native GPU power management for certain devices.

NOTE: These drivers are currently the only method to get full acceleration for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750, 750Ti, 960, 970, and 980 'Maxwell' graphics cards. There are no current Macs with these cards, so support is absent natively in OS X.

If you've installed the drivers before, you may get a notification to update to the new drivers from the built in System Preferences pane.

How to Install the Web Drivers:
In order to use the alternate drivers on a CustoMac, you must first install the driver package. Also make sure to choose NVIDIA Web Driver using the standard menubar or system preference pane then reboot.

Please note that these drivers should be considered experimental. If you aren't having any issues, do not install- the native OS X drivers work great for most people.

Thanks!

Any special considerations for using these drivers with an X99 build? I was having some boot issues with the last version, so i uninstalled them. I obviously don't need them with a 770, but I'm considering a 970, and would like to have stable drivers.

Wait a second - nVidia is now officially hackintosh-friendly? o_O

Woah, really? Anyone else confirm? Has anyone checked if they modify anything with Clover?

I, too, can confirm what tonymacx86 posted. However, I don't use Clover.

They don't do anything with Clover that I have noticed. Particularly because Clover is most often installed on the EFI partition which isn't mounted after loading the OS.

Didn't had success with my ASUS GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC 2GB DDR5 128-bit on Asrock z97 extreme 6 with i5 4690. I updated the system first then i installed drivers and now my screen goes to sleep after apple logo boot

The same with my MSI GTX 760 OC 2GB 256 bit
