Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI

Your laptop has what kind of external monitor connector?
What kind of connector(s) on the docking station.

Seems as if the built-in port (HDMI or DP?) is not working when you connect a monitor?

Connectors on the docking station are:
DVI works
VGA don´t works
Display Port works with DP to HDMI and DP to DVI
Audio out don´t works
Audio in don´t works

Connectors on the ProBoot are:
only Displayport don´t works with dp to hdmi adapter and dp to dvi adapter (reboot)
and VGA don´t works (i know)

Read the info of the Folder Name

And read the info File in the Zip

Audio on the docking station is probably an AppleHDA issue, not framebuffer issue.
VGA is not supported.

So... seems like the only thing to "fix" is the laptop DP...

You should try adding a connector... For example, I see port 7 in some of the framebuffer configs...

You could add it to 0xa260006 with:
name: AppleIntelFramebufferAzul
find: ff00 0000 0100 0000 4000 0000
repl: 0306 0800 0004 0000 1100 0000

Also, use "Detect Displays" in SysPrefs->Displays.

Don´t work
I Add the AppleIntelFramebufferAzul KextToPatch reboot

and plug in the dp/hdmi adapter PC crash again

You didn't mention a crash...

Try:
Code:
find: ff00 0000 0100 0000 4000 0000
repl: 0306 1200 0004 0000 8700 0000

repl: 0306 1200 0004 0000 0701 0000

It is a bit of trial and error and we don't have a clear understanding of what the data is for. If you examine the existing framebuffer data, you can probably come up with more ideas.

If the crash happens without the added connector, then perhaps you need to patch the existing connectors.
For example:
find:<01050900 00040000 87000000>
repl:<01051200 00040000 87000000>

find:<02040900 00040000 87000000>
repl:<02041200 00040000 87000000>

Perhaps you can experiment on your own...

One other thing... You would have to increase the number of connectors in the framebuffer config:

I forget the details, but is one of the 3's:
Code:
find: <0600260a 01030303 00000002 00003001 00006000>
repl: <0600260a 01030403 00000002 00003001 00009000>

-or-
find: <0600260a 01030303 00000002 00003001 00006000>
repl: <0600260a 01030304 00000002 00003001 00009000>

-or-
find: <0600260a 01030303 00000002 00003001 00006000>
repl: <0600260a 01030404 00000002 00003001 00009000>

Note: I don't believe it is in the first '0103' part, as I see existing framebuffer configs (0x0a26000d for example) with 0003 there but only two connectors.

Always check ioreg to see if your patch is having the desired effect.

Look at other framebuffer configurations to determine what you need to change.

Patch HD4400/4600 9mb Cursor bytes

with the 3´s?

How i see in the ireg that the patch having the desired effect?

I test the 3´s with only first 0103 not helpful, no Signal on the DP with DP adapter boot

And my other problem is.

if i put the probook in the Dockingstation ore remove it the Screen distorted

then i shut down the System and the Screen is short ok

Sorry it works! I resolve this problem by close the ProBook and open the Probook TFT again

NguyenMac,

Thanks. It worked very nicely.

Thanks to all the work that has been done by guys like you and Rehabman, hackintoshing HP Probooks is a no-brainer process.

Hey Guys!
I'm currently dual booting my HP EliteBook 8770w.
It boots fine into windows 10, but if I want to boot into os x, I get a black screen after the apple logo.
I am able too boot os x fine, if i use my usb stick(which i created using this guide).
Might anyone be interested in helping me out?
What info would you need from me?
Graphics Card is Nvidia quadro k3000m
Thank you in advance.

The patch(es) I provided is a modified "9mb cursor bytes" patch. With additional items changed in the header in an attempt to change the number of connectors. Because I'm not sure which 03 corresponds to the fact that there are three connectors, there is more than one to try. Intended to be used with the previous patch I gave that adds a port 7 connector.

But since you laptop is crashing when you hotplug, I expect one of the other patches (that changes the '09' to '12' in the existing connectors) will solve the problem.
