I tried removing the CMOS battery also, but no luck.

Now my NVRAM -p also doesn't show anything as i have cleared it also.

my system is still getting stuck at 857D6369-1769-4FA5-8B0C-993B308D1079B42DE3DF-114E-4348-A7C7-A8B415F3FAC1.jpg

Please help...my work is at stake

Hi rehabman as told that my system is a 6 series probook which doesnot have shell 64 support.
What should i do in this case.

I had already followed this post earlier.

there is nothing in my NVRAM as I have seen in the -S mode in the recovery partition as well as from the Hackintosh install USB.
In both cases I am not seeing any variables in NVram.

An I still get stuck at same screen even i try booting to the System harddisk in -s mode

No idea. So far the only person having fixed this fixed it with the shell. You may see if some of the UEFI utilities from HP will allow you to do a reset.

It is my opinion that EmuVariableUEFI-64.efi should be used to avert this situation in the first place. Because using real NVRAM (eg. without EmuVariable...) can lead to situations like this.

I'm certain OS X filters these items from the nvram utility. If they didn't, it would make "Lock My Mac" rather ineffective. It is difficult to defeat a locked Mac by design.

Hi Rehabman
can you send me the copy of NVram on your system. I will try to duplicate the entries in my NVram. May be that can solve the issue.
I tried to FLASH the BIOS but that didn't help either.
and there is no utility available by HP to reset the UEFI

Not likely.

Did you check into the UEFI utilities from HP?
Did you try using EmuVariableUEFI-64.efi?

How to use EMUVariable can u send any link?
and how to download that file also

I have been able to get an EFI shell
and have found the following variables in NVram Variables using the DMPSTORE command.

It does not appear you did 'dmpstore -b' as described in the instructions previously linked...
