Still detected as a Nvidia Graphic Device but I'm using it since last week and I don't had any problem. DP and HDMI work but I didn't try the HDMI audio (I'm using a USB DAC).

ok thanks, i think i will still wait with update until release full supported drivers

Its good post you shared and I appreciate it

Yeah, same here,.....

Does anyone know if GTX 960 cards can output to multiple 4K displays at 60Hz for typical desktop use (not games)? Say for example a combination of DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 or all three DisplayPorts at once?

I've found that the Asus Strix GTX 960 works also in Yosemite.

You either need 10.10.1 + NVDriver 343.02.01f01 or 10.10.2 + 343.02.02f01.

Also ensure that you boot with nvda_drv=1 .

That's awesome! I'm currently putting together the parts for my first hackintosh and I'd love a 960 in there. Are you happy with it? I like Asus and if you say it's supported then I'll definitely get the Strix GTX 960.

Do you know if it will work on Mavericks in the future too?

I still haven't found a definitive answer to the multiple 4K display question yet. However I did come across this:

There's a single DVI and HDMI, and you get three DisplayPort connectors, which solves one of the problems with previous-generation high-end Nvidia cards. With previous-generation cards from Nvidia, there was only one DisplayPort, which meant you couldn’t connect up more than one 4K display running at 60Hz, or one monitor with the company’s image-smoothing G-Sync technology. Therefore, high-end multiple-monitor setups required owning and installing multiple cards purely for connectivity purposes.

With the GeForce GTX 960, as well as the higher-end GTX 970 and 980, you can connect three of these monitors to a single card (though, if that’s your aim, you need at least a couple GTX 980 cards for reasonable gaming performance). Also, the HDMI port here is also of the brand-new 2.0 variety, so it, too, can push 4K resolution at 60Hz to a compatible 4K screen.

and this:

4K²: With its HDMI and DisplayPort ports, the Palit JetStream provides a flawless, jaw dropping experience at Dual 4K monitors.

So it looks as though two 4K displays can be run off of the GTX 960 in a combination of HDMI and DisplayPort. I have to wonder if its possible to run a third 4K display as well or is two the limit?

Would it be possible to add additional monitors at lower resolutions on the other ports with two 4K monitors?

Anyone know,...?

Does your system match this requirements:

- 10.10.1 + NVDriver 343.02.01f01
- OR 10.10.2 + 343.02.02f01

- boot args: nvda_drv=1

Also try to boot with nv_disable=1 and -x to regain control of your hackintosh.
