I have run into a small problem.

I built my system (first Hack )yesterday using Clover.

I could not get the 750Ti to work. Did some digging and found the nVidia Webdrivers. And here is the problem. My clean install was OS X 10.10.0. The webdrivers require 10.10.1. So I update via Apple App Store. The installer updates to 10.10.2, which was just released. The webdrivers will not install on 10.10.2.

Any suggestions on how to get the correct drivers for my NVidia GTX 750 Ti loaded onto my system?

I'm trying to get my two GTX 970 cards to work with Clover.
I don't even need the cards to work in SLI, just to get one working would be good.
I can get into my system alright with disabling nvidia (the system used to work well with my one GTX 780), installed the latest web drivers. However, the web drivers don't "stick": When enabling them in the Nvidia control panel and after rebooting, default OSX drivers are still loaded.
When booting with nvda_drv=1, the system crashes and reboots just before the GUI is supposed to come up.

Any ideas what I could try?

Code:
<string>kext-dev-mode=1 nvda_drv=1 -f</string>

try this instead of just nvda_Drv=1, this is how i modified.
good luck.

Just wanted to post real quick to thank everyone for this thread. Without it, I would have been stuck upgrading my card from a GT240 to a GTX750, which initially just left the progress bar hanging halfway and left the machine unbootable.

If you happen to be upgrading from an older card on Yosemite, here's what I did.

1) Keep your original card, update to 10.10.2, reboot
2) Log back in, install the alternate nVidia web driver, don't reboot yet
3) Chameleon user, so edit org.chameleon.boot.plist, remove npci=x02000, GraphicsEnabler=Yes and add nvda_drv=1
4) Shut down machine and swap the graphics card out, power machine up
5) Log in, card should be picked up but may not display the correct res options. If that happens, check nVidia desktop manager for an update and let it update and reboot one more time.
6) You should have all resolutions available.

This was done on an Asus P5Q Pro board (Yep, old school, but it does me for what I need!), so I hope it helps anyone else out there.
Thanks again! =)

It seems there is no support for the GTX 570? - Or in fact any GTX 500 series card? :( -- Anyone know where to get drivers for this card for Yosemite? - I am experiencing stability issues with lockups and pink garbage on the screen every few days to a week :(

I don't know if the following has been mentioned before so I thought I would add what I discovered. I have two GTX 970 STRIX graphics cards installed in a three monitor Clover boot loader Haswell build, further info is available in signature. One monitor is connected through an HDMI connection and the other two are old school VGA monitors. Well, the setup worked about 40% of the time with the rest of the time resulting in a restart right before the desktop should appear. What the issue turned out to be was that I was mixing digital connections and analog ones. Which apparently the Nvidia driver can only handle intermittently. Anyway, more specifically, I was using a DVI to VGA adapter for one of the VGA monitors and once I replaced that adapter with a DP to VGA adapter the issue went away.

3 Monitor Setup:

Didn't Work:
- HDMI
- VGA to DVI Adapter
- DP to VGA Adapter

Worked:
- HDMI
- DP to VGA Adapter
- DP to VGA Adapter

I hope I could help somebody with the above info.

Hey folks and friends,

tried to install my new GigaByte G1 Gaming GTX980 to my clover based 10.10.2 system. Driver is installed and Yosemite is booting, but the system info shows "unknown 0 MB" for the card infos and the 2nd DVI output isn't working (2nd display stays black). Any suggestions on this?

greetings,
smoothny

nevermind, someone else helped me out already. forgot to deactivate to old nvidia inject in config.plist from clover! :)

Idk what the hell happened, I was happily driving my GTX 780 of ASUS, on 343.02.02 driver and then apple released a minor security update… and after the update the nvidia driver stopped working and detecting my card… also the system, with OSX default drivers I was getting GTX 780 3072MB… and now it only reads NVIDIA Chip Model 124mb so that doesn't look right… I uninstalled the driver, tried to reinstall and I get this message…

"Mac OS X version is not compatible
Mac OS X version 10.10.2 (14C1510) is not supported with this package. Please see NVIDIA’s website for further driver information."

So… have you got any suggestion? I don't know what to do to make this work back :problem::crazy:

PS: I'm on 10.10.2 Yosemite, Motherboard is ASRock z97 Extreme 3… and except slow shutdown and when external drive connected, no shut down I didn't had any other problems…
