upgrading from i3 to i7 2630qm

i am planning to update my PC from i3 to i7 2630qm i would like to know what should i patch in hp installer to i can make it possible it to run on first boot after replacement

Remove your SSDT before you install the new CPU, otherwise you will likely get a kernel panic on startup with the new CPU. You can build a new SSDT with ProBook Installer.

if you can tell me who to remove SSDT and how to make new SSDT with ProBook Installer that works with mine i7 ?
one more think while reading i notes ppl complain about 2630m is it still same issue or now ppl mange to work with it ?

SSDT removal/regeneration procedures depend on whether you are using Chimera/Chameleon or Clover as your bootloader.

Can't speak for the 2630QM, but I replaced the i3 CPU in my ProBook 4530s with an i7-2670QM with no problems.

Replace the CPU. After installing it, boot using your USB. Use PBI-CE to repatch DSDT and generate SSDT.

Same here, I replaced the i3-2310M for a i7-2670QM - vrooooooom!

I can confirm that what rehabman writes works like a charm

SSDT is a checkbox.
