HDMI audio kext = gold?

This kext really is gold... why isn't this more popular? It worked flawlessly on my Lightning 680 and Clover as my bootloader. I've been trying for years to get it working and this is the only solution... quite convenient!

This was the only thing that work for me as well to het HDMI audio from my graphics card (Geforce gtx 580). My Hackintosh is now complete

Gold indeed! Thanks for discovering this.

Works on GB Z97X Gaming 7 with GB GTX 970 G1 Gaming using Clover – just pop it in the usual kexts folder and reboot.

Also note that you can control the sound output via system and keyboard if you set up routing through a virtual device, e.g. via Soundflower. Here is the guide that I've used.

I just came across this while browsing Unread Posts. All I can say is "WoW!!

I just installed a GTX 760 graphics card and this kext has enabled HDMI audio in both Mavericks and Yosemite.

OK, so it was working when I went to bed last night, but this am HDMI audio had disappeared from my sound prefs and I had no sound. All other sound options were still there.
I rebooted and it's back and working.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah, the kext doesn't seem to work after the machine sleeps. Furthermore, it seems to break my HDAEnabler1/AppleHDA kexts after sleep. Rebooting fixes it.

GTX 750 Ti.
