Just wanting to make sure I'm doing this correctly. But to update kext files, you just copy the extracted kext file to the relevant directory right? You don't need to use terminal or anything?

Try different USB sticks/different USB port.

Also, if you want me to look at what you're doing, post your EFI folder on the USB.

Looks fine. Try different ig-platform-id values as advised in the guide.

I have tried using different usb and clean install and different ig values. Still freezing halfway. No idea what is happening. Is it because I am on windows 10? I can't see any possible solution. Any advice?

Another thing, when you say "install the kext file" you just mean copy and paste the kext file from the zipped folder to the correct spot right? You don't need to use a kext installer or anything (because they only install into the S/L/E folder right?)

Check BIOS settings that might need changing. Also, be patient. It is not quick (allow at least 3 min).

I have left my computer running over night so I don't think time is the problem. Here are my bios settings and the verbose script that follows:

Also if I leave the verbose script running for a while it comes up with one more line-

i have tried using a different usb and also the two different USB ports on my computer. It still hangs at the same spot with the same verbose script. Are there any other methods that you can offer?
