Brightness keys F2 and F3 don't work, but the slider in Monitor changes brightness

I've found the issue!

The boot flag "-gux-defer-usb2" was the problem. Unchecking it in Clover Configurator makes the webcam work again.

Now I discovered another issue. Removing "-gux_defer_usb2" makes the webcam work, but the laptop doesn't go to sleep and remains in black screen...

Could be a USB issue.

You could try using AppleUSBXHCI instead of GenericUSBXHCI...

That's what I'm using on the Lenovo u430. Requires DSDT patches and doesn't work for all...
 
I've tried different AppleUSBXHCI.kext Versions (650.4.3, 670.4.0). With that kext, the webcam and the usb3 is found like with the GenericUSBXHCI.kext, but sleep doesn't want to work with it, ending in a black screen which it isn't wakable. I searched in the web for clover kext patches or DSDT patches regarding the AppleUSBXHCI.kext, but I didn't found anything.

A question: Does it make a difference if I put the kext in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.9, in S/L/E or in S/L/E/IoUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns?
