Any news for 750ti support on 10.9.4 with web driver? Can't boot, looped on restart. Tried all possible Kernel flags combinations.

can boot after u config properly, refer to http://www.tonymacx86.com/buying-advice/125277-geforce-gtx-750-ti-maxwell.html#post840255

i have done it, u have to go into safe mode then edit the plist like my sample then change to use nvidia web driver

the post below is not helpful, yes it does not support fully but still able to boot and use, can even set screen to 1920, only thing is no graphic acceleration for now, perhaps there is only i dont know how to make it work

Thanks for sharing this, please keep us updated if you get it fully working. OS X 10.10 beta will be available today to all who subscribe, let's hope it has something to resolve this!

What is this program that you use to track your temperature like this?

I just installed an nVidia GeForce GTX 2GB GDDR5 in my MacPro 3.1 and i used Pacifist to install the drivers

Where do I see what the temperature should be and what not and how to figure out if the drivers fixed the problems and what not! Thank you in advance for the help :)

It is hwmonitor which you can install using multibeast. You also need fakesmc with sensors.
Let me know if you need further help
cheers

Thank you for the answer :) Really appreciated !!!

But I think i did the installation wrong =/ I installed HWMonitor without Multibeast I downloaded from a third party website. Also here is a screenshot (on the SS i didn't had FAceSMC v5.3.820 HWMonitor checked) but i did checked it after, and i still don't see the frequencies under my HM list. Any reasons why? And should i remove it and reinstall it via MB?

The temperature of my memory module scared me… I don't know if it was a bad ready or not, and the CPU graphic 1 seems way off??? I don't know what the temperature should be nor the proper fan rotation so an hit or help would be nice or a link so i can data mine that and understand a little bit better hehe :)

Confuguration:

MacPro 3,1 (Early 2008)
nVidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5
8GB 800Mhz Memory Stick

The driver download worked for the nvidia as i have the icon and i can switch form the OS X drivers or the Web drivers which is nice, but i haven't really noticed a difference in performances in the games that i play for the most part:

World of Warcraft
Diablo 3

under OS X 10.10 nor 10.9.4.

Although when I boot under Windows 7 via boot camp, the difference is impressive and the computer is ready for all the feature from the GeForce Experience Application which is nice versus my old GTX 560. Screen Shot 2014-11-29 at 8.39.49 AM.jpg

EDIT
That's the card I bought… Do I really need to buy either an nVidia only or EVGA or this works?? Because it is recognized in my computer and works:

nVidia GeForce GTX 760 - Zotac

I have another drive that I use that I can erase and do a fresh install of OS X Maverick or Lion or Yosemite. I think I will do that when I get back home (Maverick - 10.9) a fresh install see how it works out.

Is there something I need to do differently for a fresh install or post-installation once the system is installed? Keep in mind it's not an hackintosh, it's an MacPro 3,1 (Early 2008) so :)

Thank you again!!

Did you installed the fakesmc plugins?

the easiest way seams to be just to install it using multibeast.

I think I will reattempt reinstalling fresh new system on one of my drives that i don't use (10.9 most likely + the drivers than use MB to install both Fake and HWM Monitor. Although I might push for 10.9.5 this time around over 10.9.4.

Did a fresh install of OS X Maverick and installed it properly this time around using Multibeast.

This is what I got, I'm not sure of what to be checking for or to verify. Is that normal that my Memory Module 3 and 4 are that high in temperature??

EDIT:

I just noticed that unlike others I do not see the GPU Memory Frequency for some reasons, just GPU Core any reasons as why?

I think I cant help you regarding temperatures, since they highly depend on your hardware setup.
How hot do the RAM feel?
what temperatures do you get with opened chassie ?
