Can't boot Yosemite from HD with Clover on GA-Z77X-UD5H Mobo Bios Boot

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me. I had a working Unibeast/Multibeast install of Yosemite but decided I wanted imessage/continuity to work so I thought I would give Clover a try. After a couple of days of trying to do a UEFI boot and giving up, I went with the BIOS method and followed this guide (http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html) and successfully got my system re-installed using clover from USB and can boot into it from USB with no problems (posting from it right now).

But, the problem comes when trying to boot from HD. I installed Clover and used the same nvidia-config.plist file and kexts. Installed Clover to my Macintosh HD, but I can't get it to boot. It goes to a black screen with a - in the upper left corner for a while then displays a message saying "Not Found".

Can anyone help me get this to boot from HD successfully? Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H Mobo with i7-3770k and nVidia 560Ti.

I have same MB however using GT 740 video.
My solution was using the standard config.plist to boot hard drive EFI install then start making changes with Clover Configurator or editing the plist through an editor by hand.

Been building Hacks since December 2008 but my experience very limited with Clover only my second attempt
With standard config.plist this MB boots to iMac 14,2 however you get kernel panic on shutdowns/restarts which is a pain however the only kexts I have is FakeSMC and the AppleIntelE100e
I read somewhere changing to Mac Pro 6,1 fixes the kernel panic problem however I so far have been unable to boot to that definition, black screen.

Currently I have consistent booting and no panics with sleep working 100% with only those 2 kexts and using the old standby definition of Mac Pro 3,1
I do not have iMessage working since Apple has me blocked. I do not want to call them to unblock until I know I have everything perfect. Oh I also found the kext patch for trim and that is working also. That patching on the fly is great!

Search, search, search and read, read, read has always been my motto :=)
However since both the Z97 MB and Yosemite are new it will take some time. Sorry can't be more help

Any luck on this? I am in the same boat. I am able to boot legacy mode all day long just haven't found the right UEFI config. Thanks.

It's what I had to do to get UEFI to work right. Good luck.

Thanks for the response. I am running the latest non-beta F14 BIOS so I think I am good there. I have spent too much time on it at this point as well so will keep trying. I think if someone could post their config.plist and EFI folder from the EFI partition as well as the Clover installer version it would help narrow it down to BIOS configuration.
