Guide: Update OS X Mavericks to OS X Yosemite Using UniBeast and MultiBeast

Update went smooth, only had to remove some kext files... Now I only have problem with usb3, the pluged devices doesn't show up...

Continuing to get stuck at the apple loading screen after install of multibeast items. I got into the OS using boot flags and installed the 10.9.5 rollback, and that didn't help. Any suggestions?

Update: Wiped my boot drive, started all over, now I'm just getting a kernel panic. Yay

After a hole weekend of Updates/Backups/problems with the timecapsule ....
I followed this guide and everything works.

Until the last boot (normal boot after installation Yosemite) it don't wont go on?!

The first half it loaded in a few minutes, then it goes little steps for hours and hours..!?

Pls help!

Hi all,I need help: during Unibeast 1st install ... i got to the OS X setup screen but video is totally out of sync ... and I cannot see anything. Everything is flickering!!! Asus P8-Z77-TH MOBO and i7-3770 , no discrete gf card. I tried -x -v-f .. but no luck!

Solved: flag used at Unibeast's boot: -x -f "Graphics Mode"="1920x1080x32"

iMessage not working after completing the update with Cham 4.0 , iCloud services all working, iTunes working. and FaceTime not working.

Followed the guide, installed over Mavericks - Success!!

Hump #1 [PCI Configuration starting... ] stuck
Solution: Remember to check
Drivers -> System -> AppleACPIPlatform Rollback > 10.9.5 AppleACPIPlatform Rollback

Hump # 2 Audio Not working
Solution: Install AL889 from MultiBeast 6.1.0 (NOT THE LATEST MULTIBEAST). Look under Downloads Archive. All Credits to davidhyde18 post.

But got one last problem to solve - slow boot time...
Great! This helped a lot with PCI Configuration...

If you follow the guide and upgrade to Yosemite over Mavericks, does your working iMessage continue to function?

thanks!

what happens if we rushed and did not do steps

2. Remove /Extra/modules/FileNVRAM.dylib if present
3. Remove /System/Library/Extensions/GenericUSBXHCI.kext if present
4. Edit /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist to remove the following 2 lines if present:

What should I do now that i'm already updated?

After 3 days (and nights) of playing I finally got Mavericks updated on my gf's hackintosh.
I used Unibeast 5 to create installation stick, installed Yosemite with GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 flags, booted into Yosemite through USB with -f.
Then at first used Mutlibeast 7 to install Chimera 4 and Kext Dev Mode, also inserted my DSDT. At this point after restart I had a stuck with PCI Configuration starting (progress bar not moving with Apple logo) untill I found a solution here to use 10.9.5 AppleACPIPlatform Rollback option.
Then I installed Audio and Network drivers from Multibeast 6.5 and yes I got a working system...

EXCEPT:
Not only iMessage, but even iCloud and other services do not activate. I have copied my smbios file from Mavericks, but that didn't help. I connect through Wi-Fi. Can it be that we had to remove the FileNVRAM?
Anybody had the same issue and managed to fix it? Any help here is appreciated.

The system is not the one in the profile, it is
GA-X58A-UD3R
i7 1366 CPU
GeForce 430

SOLVED:
For some reason I noticed that Ethernet adaptor was not listed in System Information (though there was one in Network pane). So I have reinstalled it from Multibeast 7 and everything works (except iMessage).
