Does anyone of you know how to enable text messaging? I can use my iPhone for making phone calls but I cannot send text messages but iMessages. Airdrop is also working. But handoff not. Is handoff required for text messaging?

Cheers

theres a setting on your iPhone in Messages so go into settings then messages and its called text messaging forwarding it was bought in iOS 8.1 tho

Hand off works with Non-Apple Broadcom card until DP6, then it stops working til now. Continuity requires iOS 8.

What is needed (hardware) to use Yosemite's new features on our laptops?ù

Thanks!

You would need a Broadcom BCM94360 card from a MacBook Pro Retina for example. You can get it at osxwifi.com but I cannot verify if the card will work in the WWAN slot as it is a full-size card and will not fit in the wifi slot of PB 6x70b or EB 2x70p.

Does anybody know if it would work in the WWAN slot?

Regards.

Most likely it will not. If I remember correctly we tried with other cards before with no success, but you can try it with the little one installed below, just use a little piece of tape for the test (or search for 1 year old threads).

Oh well, if there only was a possibility for B/T USB 4.0 devices  Really hoping that there is a solution (eventually) :D
