Yosemite is not ready for prime time on my 2 year old rig, GA-Z77X-UD5H (v1.0), if you have this mobo I highly recommend staying with Mavericks until things are ironed out.

* Logitech Camera Stops working on sleep
* Sound stops working on sleep
* USB Rebooting when hot swapping on sleep
* no iMessage / FaceTime

It is working fine with my GA-Z77X-UD3H.
I use Clover and a patched DSDT.

Have you tried that?

Are you using PJALM's DSDT patch for GA-Z77X-UD5H?
You can apply it easily to your clean DSDT with MaciASL.

I'm using the following KEXTs for my UD3H:
- FakeSMC
- AtherosL1cEthernet (for LAN)
- AppleHDAIDT (for on the fly audio patch)

Because of the DSDT patch I don't need:
- NullCpuPowerManagement
- GenericUSBXHCI

I have disabled a lot of built-in Clover patches:
- I have none of the "Old way" DSDT patches selected
- Under "New way" I have: NewWay, FixRegions, FIX_RTC and DeleteUnused
- For boot options I use: darkwake=0 and kext-dev-mode=1

Everything is working, sleep works well too. Even iMessage :)

I've attached my config.plist (stripped the MB serial and ROM).

My hack has a very strange behavior after the update.

Z77X-UD5H (v1.1), ASUS GTX650, 16 GB RAM, i5-3570k, latest Clover Version.

After sleep / wake my hack instantly reboots, if I connect my iPhone via USB.

But only after sleep / wake.

Do you have the same behavior? Can anyone test?

thx

madman1234, connecting iPhone doesn't cause a reboot here after sleep/wake

Are you using GenericUSBXHCI (doesn't seem to play that nice with Yosemite)?
Do you have a custom DSDT?

You might want to try the Asus AICPUPM option in Clover.

Hi, yeah I noticed :)

Please see my edit above for some tips that might help.
What does your system log report?

what drivers do you use for clover? under drivers64UEFI?

I am using the standard USB drivers from Yosemite.

How can I set this option?? (Asus AICPUPM)?

For my USB stick I have: DataHubDxe, EmuVariableUefi, FSInject, OsxAptioFixDrv, OsxFatBinaryDrv, PartitionDxe and VBoxHfs.

After installing OSX I only use OsxAptioFixDrv (so I guess that is the one that is really necessary).
You might need other drivers than I do because your motherboard is probably quite different.
Make sure you use a recent bios version.

To change Clover settings I use Clover configurator:
http://mackie100.webwacemaster.altervista.org

With that tool you can find the option in the Kernel and Kext Patches section.
If you want to edit the config manually this should help:
http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/KernelAndKextPatches#AsusAICPUPM

In my experience it helps to turn a lot of the Clover options off until something (e.g. sleep, USB, boot) breaks. That gives you a better understanding of what modifications are really necessary for your system.

I can really advise a proper DSDT. It helped me to get USB3 working without any additional KEXTs.
