Hi everyone!
Just migrated from Chimera 4 to Clover. Now before i edit any SMbios info in clover, do i just delete smbios.plist?

If not, will there not be a conflict between smbios.plist(chimera) and config.plist (clover)?

Hi there,

My current build is as follows - all parts were on the approved list in the buyers guide.

GIGABYTE|GA-Z87X-UD4H R

ASUS|GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 2G RT
[h=1]CORSAIR CSM Series CS650M 650W ATX12V v2.4[/h][h=1]Intel Core i7-4790 Haswell Quad-Core 3.6GHz[/h][h=1]Intel Core i7-4790 Haswell Quad-Core 3.6GHz[/h][h=1]TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900[/h]
Got Yosemite installed using Clover. Everything (that I have checked so far works) except iMessages. I can send and receive SMS but not iMessages from the Hackintosh. Yesterday I received the customer code and called Apple and they corrected the issue on their end. Since then, I have been able to log in without issue but cannot send or receive iMessages (messages from other Apple devices) but can send and receive SMS.

Any suggestions for troubleshooting will be much appreciated. I own a macbook air as well, in case that is helpful in providing any serial numbers etc for the Hackintosh. I didn't quite understand that part of the guide. Anyone care to explain using simple english?

Thanks,

CJ.

Same as mine just one post above yours ;) If you find a solution, let me know :)

Hopefully someone can help me out....

I have everything up and running and followed this guide and Tony macs to get my ga-77n-wifi onto Yosemite using Clover. I followed all the directions but my UUID and the Rom are changing after every boot. Every other # is staying the same. Usually it's Rom/MLB that change but UUID & Rom are changing after every reboot and MLB stays.

UPDATE: I used my MAC address and that fixed the ROM. I was still getting a changing / non matching UUID. I removed the SmUUID from configurator that clover generated and rebooted. the System now has matching ROM / MLB / UUID every time I turn on or reboot. The only issue is that SmUUID in configurator (aka config.plist) I left blank. The system still pulls the same UUID everytime and verified it with Imessage-Debug. Will this get flagged? And if so, is there a way to fix this. :)

Has anyone come across this? Any help is greatly appreciated :)

They are in two different locations. The Chimera version is located in the "Extra" folder of the startup disk while the Clover version is located in the hidden EFI partition.

Well, I tried everything. I tried upgrading from Chimera to Clover, I erased my HDD to do a fresh-install, I tried installing Yosemite with clover... I just can't get iMessage to work. With chimera at least I get FaceTime and iCloud working, with clover I get none. I really don't know what's going on and why my pc isn't accepting clover.

waiting on a fix for chimera users...

Well, i´ve migrated to clover.

Updated SMBIOS settings in clover configurator while following this guide. Called apple and got them to open up for my imessage. Was able to send 1 SMS Yosemite -> iphone

Never got an imessage through. Not getting any more SMS´s through either.

But i AM able to log in.

Wondering if i might have messed it up with the MLB, serials and UUID´s etc...

I maybe have a fix for iMessage with chimera!!!
With Chimera i have error connection with iMessage
FaceTime apple store and iCloud work fine
So after a lot of fresh install of yosemite i maybe find a solution
I install yosemite and all the kext with unibeast and multibeast
My hackintosh work great all except bluetooth and iMessage
Now i create a USB boot of clover just for boot one time
I reboot and i boot with my USB clover and i choose my HDD of my hackintosh
I try iMessage and i haven't the same error
I have a message say contact apple with my Apple ID and a number xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
So tomorrow i call apple and with the number iMessage will certainly work because a lot of people who call with the number to apple say after iMessage work
I hope....
i say tomorrow if it's good...

iMessage and FaceTime Two Numbers one Apple ID

Hi my apple id account has two phone numbers associated with it, one from the US and another from the UK...up until mid August iMessage worked fine until I activated iMessage on my UK number then it stopped working on my Hackintosh giving me the infamous "Your Apple ID ...@.... can't be used to set up iMessage at this time" and a Customer Code. IMessage and FaceTime however continue to work on my Macbook Pro. In the past I resolved this issue by deactivating iMessage on my UK number and then changing my password for iCloud and it seemed to work fine with the one number, but I'd like to keep both numbers associated if possible, anyone have a similar issue?

Has anyone found a good guide on how to inject WIFI using clover so it is set as built-in? I did some searches for instructions but came up without a working solution.

Also where do you fill out the form for iMessage support to get the call back from the correct department to avoid all the other hoops to jump through?

I don't know what card you have, but this worked for me.
