@RehabMan How well versed are you in Voltage? What do you think about the higher input current for panel? I know that it has to be higher caused by the higher resolution. Can anything happen?

I see 3.3V for both.

good news, it works!

Cool...

It would be a good idea to update post #1 with all the information...

of course, a little documentation is coming

Hello,

I've a probook 450 G0 and i d'like to know if your method is avaible on my laptop? I think yes but ?

Why do you buy a touch screen (LP156WF4-SLC1) instead of normal screen (LP156WF4-SPB1) ?

Where do you buy your screen? Is it necessary to change the original Cable ?

Thank you for your answers.

When do you publish your guide step by step for changing the screen ? Thanks

Fred

Hey. LP156WF4-SLC1 isn't a touch screen panel. I bought in on ebay and you have to change the original cable with the cable from the probook 470.

Hello, i ve received my screen :http://www.ebay.fr/itm/371111369362?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

and i buy the 470 lvds cable directly on HP spar parts.

It work perfectly! and it's beautiful ! I me very happy.

But the problem is the cable length.
I slipped a part of the cable behind the screen during installation and I perceive myself that the cable strength a little behind the screen which created a spot on the screen.

How did you do during the assembly not to have any problems with the cable length? be it the stripper? thank you for your reply.
kind regards,
