NVIDIA Launches "Maxwell" GeForce GTX 750 and 750 ti Graphics Cards

and i believe it has support because the 980 works and people have reported that the 750 ti works too!

I have a GTX 750 Ti and unfortunately I still need nv_disable=1 to get the install USB driver into the install UI of Yosemite, haven't finished installation, but it seem Yosemite still doesn't support 750....?

So with this driver does the 750 ti work??? In Yosemite??? Which version of the card have you got? The gigabyte one???

please tell me if the gigabyte 750 ti works in Yosemite and how!

I have the Palit GTX 750 Ti StormX OC and its running perfectly.

I'll start at the beginning. When installing Yosemite use the boot option nv_disable=1

Download and install http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/78853/en-us

Once installed top right of the menubar you should see the Nvidia Device Manager. Click it and select NVIDIA web driver. Then reboot and it should work

(Now for me when I rebooted it didn't work so I used nv_disable=1 again during boot once back in it was still selecting the OSX driver in the NVIDIA Device panel so I reselected the NVIDIA driver again rebooted then it worked)

for me when I try to even install the multibeast stuff it freezes and then I have to force restart... And now it says can't fnd mach kernel... So I can't boot to the unibeast or my install drive!! This was using the integrated graphics...

Sorry, I am still a fresh nooby hackintosher so my experience is very tiny. I was getting random freezes using Mavericks and my solution was to update the BIOS to a beta version.

An idea I can think of is to check the console (Applications > Utilities > Console) and see what the log says before the crash.

If you are still stumped I suggest you make a new thread under the Yosemite desktop support sub forum. Detail your hardware + steps you take as well as posting the console messages before the freezes. Hopefully someone there will know how to fix your issue.
