Update HP Laptops to Yosemite with Clover UEFI

I'll have to do that. If only it didn't take so long to configure everything after Windows and OSX installation... all those updates, programs, etc.

I've got a question: Is there any way I can communicate with pkilfeather1? He's got only 5 posts and he cannot use PM. He's got the same laptop as mine (6460B) and I wanted to ask him if he experienced freezies on Mavericks like I do.

Loreno I've just read your post - set up a new topic in the yosemite/mavericks forums and I will try to help there.

-- nguyenmac/Rehabman: Thank you for your help - everything works perfectly on my 6460b now, including messages/facetime after calling apple with a clover-generated serial.

The only thing that doesn't work is continuity, but I believe that's due to not having a BT LE card in the 6460b. I'm trying to find a replacement BT card now.

Thanks again

Hi!

I have a huge problems...
After update Finder always "not responding". Restart finder, restart mac, repair permissions do not help.
When some application tries to do something with finder, for example upload file in browser it hangs too.
AppStore looks like working, but when I click download button on the Yosemite page it hangs too.
When I click on iCloud icon in System Preferences it hangs too, but other preferences seems to be working (I can change color profiles, run clover icon, change mouse settings ...).
When I press "Shut Down" it close all applications, but do not shutting down. When computer go to sleep, ant then I wake it first ~5sec it working (i can type something in password field of log in screen) and then computer reboots, I see the "Kernel Panic" screen, and then it boots.

Here is my "troubleshooting files" - https://bitbucket.org/olessavluk/trouble/src
(Sorry, I cant upload it directly, because when I tries to upload files my browser hangs on)

My installation process:
I read this guide and followed it.
1. I rebooted and press F4 button. Then I check EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin folder, there was a lot of files.
2. So I downloaded PBI CE v6.2.11.2 and installed it. Rebooted, and I saw that my color profile and mouse tracking speed has changed (other thinks seems to be working the same as before). I changed color profile and mouse speed back.
3. Then I run AppStore and press update to Yosemite. It rebooted my computer, in clover I selected new partition and it start installing ... then I fell asleep and when I woke up saw that my computer was in sleep. I press power button it wake up, then I log into my account. Then it proposed to log into iCloud I press "skip this" and after ~30sec I saw my desktop.
4. I saw that my audio not working, so I run PBI CE again. And then rebooted.
5. And now audio and other devices seems to be working, but Finder, iCloud settings (in System Preferences), AppStore (only when tries to download something) - "not responding" =(

Any ideas how can I solve this?
Maybe I can to run Yosemite installer one more time? (I did this with minor updates (10.9.4 to 10.9.5 for example) when something went wrong.)

Thanks!

I got KP at step 3, managed to boot with -xcpm and KernelPm=true, then set these with Clover configurator and change the SMBIOS to MacBookAir5,2. This allowed the laptop to reboot correctly on Maverick.
When installing Yosemite I got a KP at step 5.

What could I change in Clover configurator to make the update work ?

Try booting to installer and verify/repair your disk.

Select kext-dev-mode=1.
