Hi

I have just installed Yosemite on my Hackingtosh (from scratch). It is a Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB3 with a ATI Radeon 5000 graphics card. The BT dongle is a Belkin F8T065. I bought that model as it uses the same Broadcom chip as is in my MPB 2013 (late).

Systems seems so far to work great.
iMessage is not working though.
The BT is not supporting Handoff. I expected that to work as chip is the same. But isn't it possible to transfer some of the information from my MBP to my hackingtosh to get this to work?
I have no clue to what i shall do but i'm ready to give it a try :)

What is your wifi card?

Near as I can tell one of two things will have to happen for Handoff on Hackintoshes:

* Bootloader will have to find a way to spoof the manufacturer to be Apple on your USB bluetooth adapter.
* You'll have to build a PCI-express card with wifi/bluetooth combo cards made by Apple using an adapter board. Looks like it's about $60 in parts on eBay, shipped from China so it'll take a couple weeks.

What's up with your iMessage? I had a problem logging in, it gave me a crazy 12-digit code. I called Apple and gave them the serial number of an actual Mac that I have access to, they asked me my security questions and I answered them, and then they allowed me to log into Messages on the Hackintosh. It's working fine now. edit: I'm using Clover and now I see that if you're using Chimera that the nvram lib needs updated, so your problem is probably not what I had.

Hmm, guess it is not that likely that someone gets this working.
Will just live without this then.

Not able to login to iMessage initially. "An error occurred during activation". So maybe this is fixet in next Chimera.

The nvram library needs to be updated, and someone might be working on that and it'd be included in Chimera, or else once it's updated you could put it in the appropriate /extra subfolder.

In the meantime, it works fine on Clover. iMessages show up on my phone, iPad, and Hack, and I can send messages from it too.

I have installed Yosemite on H55M-USB3, easily with Unibeast, I have a Belkin mini BT and works prefect, but I can't get USB3.0 working right, I tried with Genericusb and usb3 kext from Multibeast

You should try the below. Worked for me.

Try this :

Remove GenericUSBXHCI.kext if you have one in /System/Library/Extensions

Copy Rehabman's GenericUSBXHCI.kext to your desktop. Download

If you don't have it already, download KextBeast from Here.
Run KextBeast.

Restart
