I'm asking for some help, I just have a head stumper going on. Last November I bought z87x-ud7 TH motherboard and I experienced my first hackintosh build. I was running stock graphics on a 4770k and I couldn't get HDMI audio... I found toledo's instructions which were way over my head, then I found an exact tutorial on how to use MaciASL to inject toledos driver... Everything has been running fine. Last week I bought an EVGA GTX 770 4GB, I thought I should do a clean install, now I am realizing that was a mistake... I tried to repeat the DSDT creation with MaciASL but toledos options have changed and I I've a new card. Multibeast has changed and there is a lot of different drivers... I can get the system running dual screen, everything seems fine, but there is no option for HDMI audio... Can somebody give me a current tutorial??? Or hold my hand? Much appreciated

:headbang: I found my own way... Most of my problem was hooking a screen with no audio and OSx would not detect it... There seems to be no audio pass through to the GTX 770 via HDMI, as soon as I hook a screen with HDMI audio, I am able to select that option...

Thanks again to this guide: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD7-TH - Install Outline, Test: File Copy Results

I not getting HDMI audio through my evga gtx770 4gb.... it doesn't show as an option when i plug into any port. I've followed the instructions but they seem older and use the older multi beast. i was wondering if multi beast is conflicting with toledas driver? some help would really be appreciated.

Toleda, Ive tried your tutorial, I'm just stuck with your terminology. I'm pretty sure I follow the tutorial that has my board series which is z87x, so 8 series with the 4600 graphic... but I'm trying to get audio on my evga card... so I looked through your Nvidia guide and I don't understand what it is saying. I decided that the lines of code need to be injected to the dsdt file.... so, when I opened up Maciasl, I decided to compile and i found 2 errors after a clean install following the tutorial (link below)...

line 62 code 6074 "Name already exists in scope (_SB_.PC10.PEG1)
line 63 code 6074 "Name already exists in scope (_SB_.PC10.PEG2)

No matter what I do, I cannot delete those two lines of code, I have a suspicion this is my problem, but I am a novice and don't understand much.

I followed this guide:
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD7-TH - Install Outline, Test: File Copy Results

I tried to install the MaciAsl options many different ways all with the same results. i tried to add
AML-Clean_compile-8series after my motherboard selection.... i tried to install one at a time, 2 at a time, every different arrangement i could think of. I even injected your nvidia code on line 1 of MaciAsl and still i get the errors above. I cannot delete them, they just reappear even after clean installations.

Please help me
:beachball:

when I plug in my Asus with audio into the motherboard hdmi, i get HDMI selection and it works. when i plug into the EVGA, there is no option in audio except for digital, line, etc... also, when i search through IOJones for the components you want me to identify, most are there and correct but when i try to identify "connector type" no such words exist.

Using an unsupported guide rarely results in success; waste of time.
The tools do all the work; guides include screenshots, what to do if there is a problem, etc.
dsdt errors; MaciASL/Patch/Clean Compile or delete the line(s) of code causing the error.

my big question is, where do I find a supported guide for my motherboard? GA-Z87X-UD7 TH

I thought the guide I followed above was a supported guide...? in Maciasl i selected pjalms motherboard hit apply after both windows filled in, then close... did the same for your patches, and I got no errors and created a DSDT... Am I doing something wrong?

What do I do if I can't find a guide? if I can't compile a correct DSDT for my board, how do I give you the info you want?

My frustration revolves around getting the accurate information to you, if I can even do that....? I feel like a grade schooler thats wants to cry in the corner!!! I don't understand some of the things you want. I am learning, but I really need help.

Ignore - I did not redo yet:banghead:

Ok... here is what Ill do, Tony told me this board runs without a dsdt, Ill scrap everything and do a fresh install that way Im starting from scratch. will you help me or point me in the right direction in making the correct DSDT?

Ok, here is my very first try at attaching stuff to this forum (I am osx ignorant).

Description of problem: I cannot get HDMI audio option when I plug into EVGA GTX770 4GB

Board: GA-Z87X-UD& TH
Bios: F4
Grafix: EVGA GTX770 4GB
CPU: intel i7 4770K
OSx: 10.9.5

Installation process: 1. Create DSDT using MaciAsl, patches include in order; Pjalm Motherboard, Pjalm Discreet Graphix (amd/Nvidia), Toleda8 AMI-HD4600-AMD-Nvidia-A1, Toleda8 AMI-Clean-Compile-8series... When I compiled the DSDT there 0 Errors (Exact same error count as the tutorial i used)

  • 0 Errors
  • 0 Warnings
  • 11 Remarks
  • 146 Optimizations

System Info.pngDCPIManager.png

I cannot seem to upload the DCPI file so i did it as a pdf

Can you tell me what you did to fix it if you did so I can recreate the process? thanks for your help
