**** [IOBluetoothHCIController][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controll

I too am having the same issue. Running on GA-Z77N-WIFI. However while I'm writing this post it now shows (in verbose mode) after ... Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! , "Resetting IOCatalogue".This leads me to believe that the system has not hang. I will wait a bit since I have a slight dimmed flicker on my HDD light.

Hey guys, i had the same issue but after disabling bluetooth and wifi adapters on windows, 10.8.5 starts up fine.

this seems to be dependent on system definition in combination with clover plist changes on my system. Perhaps someone clever can give us some pointers as to what options combined with that system definitions might cause it. On my system it either hangs or reboots if it gets this error on system start.

Same Issue here. Got a i7 4770 and a Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
Systemdefinition is MacPro3,1 and im running OSX 10.9.2
I do not use bluetooth.

However i can boot in safemode

Im not sure if this is really the source but if i rename the FakeSMC Plugin ACPISensors and rebuild caches the system boots but maybe it only boots because of the cache rebuild.

I had the same problem, and i fixed it by simply moving my USB bluetooth to another USB port

@kogski,

Try disable on board video and put back in your GTX 660 Ti. Nvidia GTX 660 Ti is supported by Mavericks.
I have a completely different system than yours. In my case I solved it my deleting all Bluetooth Kexts in the USB installer. Then I was able to successfully install Mavericks 10.9.4. Following are my specs:

Lenovo ThinkServer TS 140
CPU: Xeon E3-1250 V3
Video: Intel HD 4600 (on board video)
MEM: GSkil Ripjaw DDR3 1600 4x 4GB
wifi card: Rosewill NPE 900 (supported natively by Mavericks)
Ethernet: Intel I217 ( I used TonyMac Intel e1000 V3 Kexts from Mavericks Multibeast)
Audio: Realtek: ALC 662
Socket: 1150

My is probably the toughest system to hackintosh because no support at all in the net. I can only install OS X using Clover EFI boot loader using legacy install following MacMan Clover install with graphic edit to accept IntelAzulFramebuffer to recognize Intel HD 4600 in the config.plist. I now have to spend some real time to patch my video in order to work on multiple displays. Also audio could be a big challenge to me because ALC 662 is a bitch to make it work. Good luck to your install.

For me this error occurs when my BIOS has (by itself) changed back to vt-d=enabled or intel graphics virtualisation=enabled.

I fix this by disabling both of these options then saving and exiting BIOS set up. This tends to happen if I've removed the power or done a hard restart for any reason.

also for some reason my BIOS only shows up via VGA and not via HDMI (gigabyte board)

Hi all,

I just got through my first Hackintosh installation.

GA-H87M-D3H
Intel i7-4770
EVGA GeForce GTX 760
2 x 8Gb Corsair Vengeance (used only 1 for installation)
SSD Samsung 840 EVO 250Gb

First I did what I saw on another post:

touch ../Extensions

reboot

Hope I helped, bye!

Then I disabled VT-d on BIOS and it worked!

Best!

Solved. I just updated BIOS, and disable VT-d in Bios, and it booted successfully without any flags. I'm not sure that updating BIOS is really necessary.

VT-d disabled worked for me. Just upgraded to UEFI on Z68X-UD3H-B3.
