why keep updating AppleHDA, stop work after sleep. No use for that. Sorry to say
Only AppleHDA from Multibeast 6.1.0 work as supposed

Cheers
It appears to be a bug in Mavericks for which their is no workaround at this time. However, when my audio doesn't work after wake up from sleep on my Thunderball system, I just put it to sleep manually (Apple menu) and wake it 10 seconds later, and it works.

My Zippy and Hector builds have audio after wake-up from auto sleep (set in Energy Saver System Preference Pane) and manual sleep.

Thanks Stork... I will have to try that. It is odd that I swear you can hear a little static from your speakers when it wakes from sleep but no sound. I had changed sleep time to an hour but will try suggestion

Still no fix for audio on certain realtek audio chips included in this one?

I completely avoid the audio device problems with a USB audio dongle. Works great and I don't have to mess with audio kexts.

I'm running OSX 10.9.4 on i7 4770K on GA Z87X UD5H. What setting should I use with MB 6.5 ? Thanks !
I recommend you look in the User Builds and Mavericks Desktop Guides forum sections.

I recommend the following choices in MultiBeast:
Quick Start DSDT-Free
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC898
Drivers > Disk > TRIM Enabler > 10.9.4+ TRIM Patch
Drivers > Network > Intel > AppleIntelE1000e

The above are the minimum to get you going.

Why would you do that if you can have a fully working system by aplying audio patch with an earlier version of MB.. it would frustrate the hell out of me if something isnt working like it supposed too :) and everytime autosleep hits you have to go back to manual sleep and wait 10 seconds :) anyway i hope they fix this soon.

Because I'm a very patience person who realizes that 10 seconds isn't a big deal. :D

Would you run MB 6.5 if you were me?

Updated to 10.9.5, 3770k,ga-Z77N-wifi. All is working.

I have a ga-z77n-wifi motherboard, and was hoping you could take a screenshot of what you updated with multi beast 6.5? Thanks

I have not run Multibeast 6.5. I ran 6.4 after my last update to 10.9.4. Since everything is running perfectly after 10.9.5 upgrade, I did not see the need. I posted the question to see if I was missing something by not using mb6.5. I did not get a response though.
