First, and before i apologize for my English, I want share my experience with his mobo cause its difficult find a guide to put OS X working on it.

I had some experience with hackintosh, never a clean install, this is the first time I got Hackintosh with a Clean Install.

Precedents

I had a MBR partition with Lion and Windows 8.1 working, so I decided upgrade to Mavericks cause now its free and bunch of new features are from Lion.

From this point I will explain how I got Maverick to work on My PC with difficulties and solutions.

1.- Prepared Flash Pen Drive Install with UNIBEAST . I used an iMac from my work:

Downloaded UniBeast from Tonymacx86 and Mavericks OSX from app Store (Be sure when download finished it should be allocated in /application as Maverick.app).

Put an Pen Drive Flash 8GB and Run Unibeast it took around 15 minutes to successful it combines the iBoot and Maverick.

2.- So I go home and put it on my PC, and first I Back Up all My Data. But, before try UniBeast. i decided tried upgrade from Lion to Maverick but the first problem appear, cause Mavericks cannot install into a MBR Partition, so it means than I should repartition with GUID Partition Method, so al data disk should eliminated, I back up windows data.

3.- At this point the idea from an Updated was discarded so I restarted and press F10 to see boot option list, I select the Flash Drive 8GB , and LETS GET STARTED!. Maverick Icon Appear so I enter 2 flags: PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=Yes .

it take around 5 minutes to take the Install screen, before install I chose Disk Utility and make 3 Partition formats :
- MAC (Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
- Windows (FAT)
- DATA (FAT) later on Windows reformatted with NTFS (for files larger than 4GB) movies, Software ISOs.

Choose Disk Utility windows and into the Install windows Choose Continue and select MAC disk (no other can be selected).
Waited 25 minute and Installation should me done.
Restart.

4.- As OS X still don't have a bootloader, I should started again from Pen Drive, but at this point I see 4 ICONS, USB(pendrive), MAVERICK(OSX), Windows and Data . I move with arrows keyboard to MAVERICK and write again 2 flags PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=Yes. And voilá Mavericks Starts at first time and ask me some info, as icloud account, name, etc.

5.- At this point I wondered cause GTX460 works like a charm and Network with no additional kext, but no sound.
I downloaded MultiBeast and Kext Utility.

Open MultiBeast and an error appear, so I should go to Privacy and Security in System Preferences on bot of windows appears a Warning From MultiBeast so I click OPEN.

MultiBeast opened and I made the next selection.

-EasyBeast
-VooDoo 2.7.3
-Everything leaved as marked default.
-Customize leaved checked Use KernelCache and pick PCIRootUID=1 and GraphicsEnabler=Yes, this for avoid write every time boot Maverick.

INSTALL.

6.- When it restart OS X give me Kernel Panic so i Load with flag -v (verbose mode) and see the problem was the kext ELLIOTFORCELEGACYRTC (this is why I don't agree with MultiBeast forced to choose this kext) for this reason you shouldn't restart when MultiBeast finished and thats why you should go /S/L/E (system/library/extension) find this kext and remove it, for rebuild permissions I used Kext utility, just open it and wait for the job is done.

7. I restarted and with no flag, it loaded almost perfect, cause now I have a problem Network dont work, so I open MultiBeast and Just check "Intel hnak's AppleIntelE1000e.kext" , INSTALL.

Godd Luck!

WINDOWS 8.1 INSTALL

8. Restart the PC and this time Press F10 and Choose DVD boot, put windows 8.1 Disk before.

9. At Install setup choose Windows disk and format again (cause Windows cannot format on FAT Partition) and format Data Partition if you have files larger than 4GB cause FAT disk cannot write this. Next and fill all information required.

10. When Windows 8.1 loader you have loss the OS X Boot entry so download (Windows) EasyBCD Free license (Google) and choosed ADD NEW ENTRY select MAC, in type select MBR and click on ADD ENTRY.

That's all.

Hi there!

Thanks for the howto. I have tha same Mobo with old 10.6 OSX running so I will try the maverick install today.
Just one question - have you used any DSDT?

thanks

Sorry answer really late, but No I dont use any DSDT...

Hi, the mono you installed Mavericks OS into SSD OR normal Hard-disk?
If I would like to install Mavericks OS into SSD, need any MultiBeast update OR kext for it? OR just similar as normal hard-disk installation.

Wait for your reply, urgent.
Thanks !

Normal Hard Disk, and not experience with SSD :(

Hello, I am trying to install 10.9 on my DG35EC Mavericks and just can not make the BOOT plate.

can not make the BOOT plate.

BOOT Plate??? lol I pretty much followed this same procedure and it worked for me. Only thing is sleep does not work, is that the case for other people ? Also VooDoo didn't give me sound so I just use an external sound card

any version of VooDoo give a kernel panic / or not work

I really had trouble getting sound to work on this board on 10.11.5. I tried a bunch of stuff and eventually one of them worked. I think It's using the latest version of voodoo that's actually working, but you might try the ALC 888 driver as well. If you are still working on something older good luck, but MultiBeast might have your back.
