Hi all, at first thank you for your great work over here.

I am facing problem, i am trying to make a bootable usb maverick installer, but I dont know why, it takes a very long time. With using unibeast it is the same, it takes hours and hours.
Have somebody an idea what i am doing wrong or where can be the problem?

Thank you in advance...

Based on your profile i5-2450M and HD4000, I can see some problems in identifying your hardware....

Make sure you understand what you have in your laptop. You will not have success with inaccurate hardware details.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Thank you guys for quick reply, I finaly got it. But it was really long time.
My hw is :

System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3201m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Hello,
I have a HP EliteBook Folio 9470m were I'm trying to put Mavericks running!
I'm an Arch Linux user and I want to install Mavericks as dual-boot.

I follow the guide to install using clover, but I'm always stuck at boot, since it stop at the boot loader with a black screen. I already try with other USB, but it seems that it can't load the boot loader.

I use the guide from RehabMan and it installed correctly. But now I have to use the USB disk to start Mavericks.

I already try to install the clover (after the installation) using the HP Probook Installer Clover, but it also stuck at boot load.

Could some one help me?
This is my first interaction with the MacOS!

What did you choose when selecting PBI CE?

Can you go to Clover screen at all?

Did you set Native UEFI in BIOS?

No. Just black screen. I try to use "enter" and other keys, to see if the loader continues, but no chance.

Did you set Native UEFI in BIOS?
I have tried with both UEFI modes.
Also tried to format the PEN with a GPT table.

And now if I load clover to HDD EFI partition with HP Probook Installer Clover, the result is the same :(
Seems to be a problem with Clover loader.

I have double checked the BIOS options and also tried with the BIOS defaults.

ProBook Installer Clover Edition. Read post #1 for correct usage.

Can you reach Clover via USB? What if you explicitly select the Clover (CLOVERX64.EFI or BOOTX64.EFI) EFI from the boot menu?

I never ever seen the clover menu.
I always get a black screen and the system freezes.

Double check that you created the USB correctly. What hardware are you using to create your USB?

Also be sure you have the latest BIOS installed.
