Probook 450 G1 Panel Upgrade

I had been thinking about doing this since I bought my 450 g1, but haven't seen any spares around for the duallink cable.

Please update with the progress! Please let me know if I can help with anything (I am ready to dissasemble my 450g1, but don't have any 470's around to get any insight on the needed pieces).

Here is some more info which I found on internet.

It looks like the HP spare number of display/LCD/screen cable is:

• 723646-001 for HP ProBook 470 G1,
• 721936-001 for HP Probook 455 G1,
• 721936-001 for HP Probook 450 G1.

A quick Google search using the HP spare number shows that the screen cable for HP Probook 470 G1 can be bought from various places quite easily.

I looked and I could not find this info on this thread! I did a quick text search for "723646-001" and it does not produce any result in this thread or the entire tonymacx86 website (except my own posting)!

Does "Outline Depth" at 4.1mm vs. 3.8mm mean it is slightly thicker? If so, will it fit?

It also appears to require quite a bit more power...

Also it shows as "discontinued"...

this one sounds better, but its an LG
