I've had my hackintosh up and running for over a year now. For the past 6 months or so, it has been running ML 10.8 with no problems.
Recently however, upon shutting down, the computer seems to go into a sleep mode. Upon returning to the computer and pressing the power button, the machine begins firing up, but in never see anything on screen. If I press the reset button, the computer apparently reboots, however the screens come up black again. If I press the power button, I hear the default Mac "ding" sound, which tells me that the computer is sleeping rather than shutting down or restarting.
Question is: how do I actually reboot the machine so that it will startup again? Rather than having it start up to a black screen?
