Hi Tom,
Sorry I don't remember everything I changed but I'm confident you should use the newest version. I don't remember exactly what I did for the Marvell SATA at this point. I've been posting back and forth at a few tgreads. I'll try and post back once Ive reviewed the versions.

hi shilohh.
one of my friend has a p9x79 deluxe.
should he use the x79d file patch or the r4e patch?
thank you

@zelanaiznac,
I haven't had anyone with that board test. He should try the r4e patches because the x79-d has built in wifi patches. Please have him extract a virgin dsdt and post it and an ioreg without any dsdt or ssdt injection and I'll look it over

@ Sebtech,
please send me your /EFI/clover/acpi/patched folder, a current IOReg and EFI/clover/config.plist. Something definitely is wrong. You need to delete all ACPI files from Andrew if you want to use any that I have sent you because they will conflict with each other.

@ Tom,
EDIT: I added a device specific method for the USB 2 that should provide more reliable power to the ports at sleep.

A new patch list for the Asus X79-Deluxe is attached. If you want to try it, you should delete your old DSDT, reboot and extract a new one to be patched. Please save and post a IOReg for me when you're done.

Hey Shilohh !
I'm back to do some tests...Sorry, but last weeks I had too many work to test something. Today I'm re-build everything from scratch. I'll let you know

Screen Shot 2014-10-05 at 17.34.34 (2).jpg These errors came when i wanted to compile for the R4E. What does that mean?

Try updating to 4206.

Updated BIOS, redone installation of Mavericks.

No luck.

EDIT:

I managed to get it working. I updated to 4802, reinstalled mavericks with a newly created cloverUSB.

Everything went much better.

Hi Shilohh,

This is my first build and I need a piece of advice.

I'm running 10.9.4 this system

Rampage IV Black Edition
CPU 4930k
Asus GTX 780 Direct CU II OC
UAD-2 PCI Audio Card
RME Fireface UFX (USB connection)

My current BIOS is 0602. I wanted to make a new DSDT since I am running with one of your first guide made with the Patch list of your build for Eric (Rampage Extreme)

Is a bios update needed/recommended before creating a new DSDT using your RIVBE Patch list? Or I should be able to just deleted my old DSDT and replace without a BIOS update?

I apologize for the noob question, but I'm not sure on which Bios version you built your RIVBE Patch list and if that would actually make a difference on my system.

Thanks for your time and help
Cheers
