Just updated to 10.9.4 with new nvidia web driver.
Same score :/

I made some more test with Cinebench R15.

Got it from there http://www.maxon.net/products/cinebench/overview.html

One Archive for OSX and Windows.

10.9.4 Scores:
Opencl: 85,35 fps
Cpu: 609

Windows 7 64bit:
Opencl: 126,58 fps
Cpu: 592

Maybe someone else can post his scores. Maybe Windows is generally faster in OpenCL.

Cheers Tert

Hi,
Open-GL and Open-CL is not the same thing, you know?

Open-GL derived from IRIS GL by Silicon graphics and Microsoft from the early 90´s.

It´s comparable to Microsofts own Direct-X.

Open-CL is from Apple and quite new in comparison: 2008.

Like Nvidias Cuda, and AMDs FireStream, it has been developed to bring the massive Parallel-computing power

of the programmable Shader-Units on Modern graphics-cards to use for "normal" programs.

And for complete confusion both specifications are being standardised by the Khronos Group... :)

I'm also having this problem with a GTX 770 clocking in at 697 :(

My Cinebench open gl score is 109, which doesn't seem as bad, but doesn't quite match up to the 770 benchmarks on this page, which vary quite a lot

What's the problem?? :banghead:

I think one of the problems is that windows drivers are way better than osx drivers...
I saw a lot of people installing bootcamp on their mac, and getting better graphical results in windows...:problem:

Yeah, I am only getting 57.43 fps on the Open GL test. Cinebench R15. Please help me

I get 56.84 fps. In Windows, I get 87.51 fps, which is still pretty pokey compared to some of the scores in this thread. OTOH, I get 8 fps on my "real" Mac. It's all relative, I guess.

My setup runs the same scores on the luxmark tooling. However, gaming wise I don't have any issues. All games run on max settings at around 60FPS (think of WoW, Starcraft, Diablo3, Metro, Bioshock3).

My guess is that those Luxmark tools are borked. What you could try as ultimate test is to install a game and check it's performance on both computers.

my gaming performance is a little shady inside of OS X.. Its awesome inside of windows. Even old COD MW3 isnt as fluid as it should be.. Its like it takes a minute or so to run smoothly.. War thunder seems to be better but it still doesnt match the performance or quality of windows.
