i get the intel ethernet finally working with v2.5.4d kext, Atheros ethernet no chance for me.
i have replaced the wifi/bt combo card with Azurewave AW-CE123H from ebay, 2.4/5 Ghz Wifi AC & BT4 with sleep/wake works fine.

is there already a way to enable hdmi sound for now?

thanks friends :D

I would check out toleda's thread(s) in the Audio > HDMI Audio forum section.

Added the following to the Guide:

:ch: Run MultiBeast and selection the following:
:ch: ...
:ch: Customize > System Definitions > iMac > iMac14 (",1" for i3/i5 processors and ",2" for i7)
Note: toleda has suggested that we use the following:
iMac14,1 - HD4600 only, or
iMac14,2 - HD4600 and discrete graphics card or discrete graphics only
Note: Optional > Use a processor specific SSDT, independent of SysDef. See toleda's guide
:ch: ...

I'm using the iMac14,2 SysDef even though I'm using the i5-4690 with HD4600. I'll be adding a nVidia 750 Ti graphics card when Apple supports it in a future version of OS X...I hope. However, the iMac14,2 SysDef is working fine. If you have a Haswell non Refreshed processor, you should make a SSDT in accordance with toleda's guide. As of this the time/date of this post, I can't make a SSDT work with my Haswell Refreshed processor; the SSDT generation application probably needs to be updated. Ahhhh, the drawbacks of an Early Adopter.

Did it loaded AppleLPC, HPET, AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementClient ?

[2]
Everytime I login the startup animation seems to be lag(Desktop expanding)
How about yours?

I choose graphics_intel_hd5k-azul-a-90_patch.command.zip.
Cause my board is GA-H97-D3H(I5-4460)

The hole that i plugin(audio) is differ from the hole i use in Windows
So everytime I change OS I have to change.
How about yours?(Or you only use one OS,OS X)

THX !!

Thaks for this post, it has helped me a lot with my first hackintosh build.

Tested on GA-Z97N-WiFi with the latest bios update, with Macintosh 10.9.3

Things that dont work, or dont work at all:
Bluetooth: once i installed the drivers with MultiBeast, Bluetooth stops working after reboot.
Second HDMI port: I think is cause the hd5k_azul_d patch and the schematic it uses
WiFi, it doesnt work (as you had said).

Things i didnt test:
iMessage

The rest works perfectly (audio, ssd trim... etc). Like a charm.

Macintosh 10.9.4:
I have already tested it, and it works great but the sound stops working (as you had said ).

Thank you again.

1. Why do you ask?

2. Don't have this problem, and I don't know the solution for your problem. I recommend you post your problem in toleda's thread.

3. I use the Green audio plug on the Back Panel of the motherboard. I only use OS X.

BT should should work. Try rebooting, and, at the Chimera boot screen, hit the spacebar to stop the auto boot, hit the spacebar again to enter "-v UseKernelCache=No" boot flags. Also see if the BT keyboard/mouse work in the BIOS.

iMessage works as far as I can tell. It accepted my login credentials.

As for 10.9.4 audio, toleda has fixed the problem which was in the Azul Framebuffer kext, not the audio kext.

Ain't it fun to be an Early Adopter? :D

Great post! Thank you!
(Did waste a day trying those on Mavericks 10.9.1 though)

Hey Stork, great post btw ;)

I got some questions that i can't figure out (My first Hackintosh is on it's way) !!

I'm going to use Gigabyte GA-Z97N-WIFI and wonder if the wifi on the board is working natively or if i can get it too work in someway without some extra expansion card or usb-dongle ??

Here is the other question that i can't find answer for either, can i get OS X and Windows 7 run on the same system without any extra hassle ??

Wireless does not work as the Intel wireless chipset is not supported in OS X. BT is, but leaving the miniPCIe card in isn't worth it. Here's what I've written for my upcoming build description:
Why a wireless equipped motherboard? Well, even though the Intel wireless is not compatible with OS X (as far as I know), and the Bluetooth (BT) is compatible, my systems are connected to dual monitors through a IOGear KVM switch. The Logitech Unified receiver and the Targus BT USB dongles are connected to the monitors USB hub which is connect to the KVM switch and shared with the computers when switched to that computer. So, I don't need the BT in a combo, but I do need wireless, and I'll like to have the wireless device to be 801.11ac compatible (AC1200+). Consequently, I have removed the Gigabyte miniPCIe wireless/BT card, and I am using the an Edimax Wireless AC1200 Dual Band USB 3.0 Adapter (EW-7822UAC) which requires drivers from Eimax's website. I will be looking to get either the AzureWave AW-CE123H miniPCIe Wireless/BT 4.0 card or it's successor in the near future. By using a wireless mini-PCIe wireless card or an USB dongle, I can keep the PCI slot open for a graphics card in the future - like a 750 Ti.

As for Multi OS booting, we have a forum section on that capability: http://www.tonymacx86.com/multi-booting/. There you will find a "sticky" thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/multi-booting/96000-guide-dual-booting-mountain-lion-windows-8-a.html which will answer your question(s).

I have pretty much done alost everything exactly the same as you except for the last 7/8 steps but I am still having trouble unless I boot in safe mode (-x).

Anything that you recon I could try?
