Help a newbie with Mavericks install

I've just built my first ever computer this afternoon and feel quite proud of myself, however I can't get Mavericks to install. I am following the guide using unibeast and get to the stage where I get a grey screen and an apple logo comes up, but then I get a kernel panic message and I've got no idea what to do next. I've attached a picture of the error message, all help will be gratefully received.

My system:

Core i5 4440 CPU
Gigabyte GA H87M D3H Mobo
Corsair CX500M psu
Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1600 RAM
Bitfenix Prodigy M case

Have you tried booting into Unibeast using any boot flags or are you just selecting Unibeast from the boot menu in your bios/uefi and trying to boot in that way?

I've had this issue occur as well during installation. First, make sure when you have trouble booting into installation to use the -v boot flag, so we can see everything that's happening. Second, for me this panic of "a free zone element has been modified...deadbeef" was caused by a memory issue. Make sure to disable XMP in your BIOS. If that's already done or not an option try the boot flag maxmem="memory", where the memory is half the amount of 1 stick of RAM in your computer (for example a 8GB stick would have the flag maxmem=4096). Third, I've seen that taking out all but one stick of RAM has helped users get into installation, but I don't know how much memory you have or if you have multiple sticks of RAM.
