How to Fix iMessage

Yes I got the newest 1.1.3. And I´m able to boot from the USB but the boot loader chameria won´t boot.

Hummmmm very strange ........

Ok well the first thing to do is to boot back into OSX and remove FileNVRAM.dynlib form the /Extra/modules folder. Reboot and make sure your system is booting again, if not then the issue must be something else, if it does boot ok then try downloading FileNVRAM V1.1.3 again, unzip and place FileNVRAM.dynlib back in /Extra/modules.

There have been one or two users that had a corrupted FileNVRAM.dynlib file, the problem is that the Boot-Loader tries to load any file good or bad and with any filename if its in /Extra/modules, if its an invalid or corrupted file it will generally cause the boot-loader to lock up.

Don´t know why downloaded same file again and it worked. And i had to call the Apple support with and it worked fine.

Got iMessage working again! I removed my credit card and re-addd it then bought a song and restarted. I signed in just fine and had to uncheck and recheck the "Enable this account" box in preferences to get it going. After that it started working perfectly.
Thanks to everyone and especialy Jaymonkey for this extensive guide, Its very helpful! Hopefully iMessage continues to work.

This time they didn't want to unlock without a verified serial code, so I think the game is not going to last much longer and hackintoshes will be cut out soon.
However for this time I was able to have the computer unlocked by giving my account address and the confirmation code, without serial. I think another operator may have simply refused.

I wrote down serial, UUID, SMbios values to be sure to replicate them in the future.

One question if i reinstall OSX again and use my time machine backup, is imassage still working?
Or do I have the same issue with this Apple Support error?

As long as S/N & UUID's stay the same you should be ok but it might be worth making a backup of your user/library folder just to be on the safe side, that way if things go wrong you can always restore the iMessage plists and data folders ....

Lets hope thats not the case .... I think a lot of it depends on the mood of the Operator you get through to ..

Stupid question i know, but is it enough to copy the libary folder to an external drive and then paste it after reinstall ^^.
