Article: Chimera 3.0 Update

I'm still on fileNVRAM 1.1.2 - applied this update - and iMessage is definitely functional. At this point, I'm reluctant to change

Thats good to know,

I try updating some of my machines to Chimera 3 and try FileNVRAM V1.1.3 over the next few days and see if iMessage continues to work ok. If its looks like Chimera 3 and FileNVRAM V1.1.3 work well together I'll update the iMessage guide accordingly. Until proven otherwise I think that Chimera <V3 users should stick with FileNVRAM 1.1.2

Cheers
Jay

Actually, V1.1.3 is working perfectly.

Steps taken:

First, followed methods in your post (on fresh install, generating new/random serial # was all that was necessary) with 1.1.2.

Then, installed 3.0.1 chimera.
Then, deleted 1.1.2 -> installed 1.1.3
Then, deleted old nvram.####.plist -> rebooted
iMessages works pefectly on a GA-Z87N-WiFi mobo

AT last , at long last , support for Ivy Bridge E and LGA2011, I've been running round in circles, trying to make it work....

Will Chimera ever gain the ability to automatically un-stretch the boot icons on widescreen displays? I don't want to re-flash my video card's EEPROM, I don't want to have to edit all the icons for a theme to squash them so that they look correct when I boot. I would like the boot loader to have a config-file option to say "display everything at X% of its regular width", for example.

I've installed Chimera 3.0.1 and everything working as expected! No issues at all.
Thanks for update.
next is from Apple with 10.9.3

Thanks got that done, hopefully it will reduce the cracks and pops I get.
What System Definition do you use? Imac? If so, try Mac Pro 3.1. (But this is off topic since this thread is about Chimera 3)

It may have been answered elsewhere but cannot find it.
The last bay-trail processor are supposed to use HD graphics coming from a mix of sandy bridge and Haswell architectures, any idea if those would work ?
